I'm a woodworker and do lots of furniture restoration. I got these to inject wood glue into cracks, crevices, and loose joints. They work really well for this application. The metal tip is cut at a sharp angle which creates a point, but it also creates a large opening to dispense lots of glue quickly. I have another set of glue syringes where the tip is cut flat, 90 degrees to the tip. These are harder to insert into tight spaces and they do not dispense glue as quickly. The body of the syringe only holds 3ml, where my other set holds 10. So this won't be very useful for large jobs. But usually 3ml would be enough. Also, my other set comes with both metal and plastic tips. The plastic tips are very useful for their flexibility. The metal needles with this set are extremely thin. So if you insert it into a crack or crevice, it may bend and stop the flow of glue. The plunger fits nicely into the body of the syringe and is well made. The tips do not screw on; it's just a friction fit. One time, I was pushing too hard and the tip came off and made a big mess with glue spilling out. My other, the tips set screws on, so I never have to worry about that. It says "For single use" on the side. But since I'm using them with wood glue, I just rinse them out with water and a pipe cleaner and they're good to go for another job later. Overall, these syringes are a nice addition to my restoration tools. The tips are well designed with an angle cut. They get into really tight places. Good quality and individually wrapped. I got these syringes to give medicine to my cat. I didn't need the needle part, and though they came installed, they're easy enough to twist off. All of the needles have a cap, too, so you don't have to worry about sharps. The syringes fit perfectly inside the medicine bottles I have and pull out the medicine easily. They're a bit loose to slide, so they fill easily, but they also push the medicine out easily. My cat hates her medicine, but I can go much quicker with these. All of the syringes are in individual sterile wrappings. This was the only :( of the whole thing: I couldn't peel them open the way they indicated (like a bandage). Instead, I gave up and punched the syringe through the thin plastic to get it out of the wrapper. ... show more

    • Got these for the dog's medicine. Works great.
I'm not sure what you need to know about a syringe with a needle attached.... but make sure you buy the right size syringe with the right gauge needle. I needed the 3ml syringe with the 23 gauge needle and this fit the bill nicely. I like that these are individually wrap.
