I purchased these for my outdoor patio set made up of imitation bamboo. The structural legs are wrapped in the bamboo, making them thicker or wider around than normal chair legs. I was only hoping they might work and was happy to find that they worked perfectly and stretched all the way around the bottom of the leg. Perfect fit for my dining room chairs. Ordered the large size, which are 1.5 sq inches and they literally fit like a perfect little boot. Bottom of is felt so chairs glide very easily on floors. Love these and would highly recommend.

Tried to use these for the "legs" on a queen bed frame to protect flooring. They kept falling off or folding over when we lifted bed up to put another cover on another frame leg. I'm sure these work well if the covers are tight and snug on a leg. Just saying it didn't work well for my application. My recommendation is to measure you leg and purchase the cover that fits snuggly around it.

We have 4 cafe style chairs with aluminum legs. I'd tried sticking felt pads under each leg to help with the scraping sound on the hardwood floor, but they'd only last a few weeks before falling off. I decided to try these out. They seems well-made. I like the silicone sleeve; pretty easy to install on the chair leg. I had to turn the chair completely over and rest the seat on the floor to make it easier for me. They fit perfectly, and I was pleased at how easily the chairs moved over the hardwood floor. After 2 months of use, they are still secure and working with no issues. Recommended!

These protectors are easy to install and once on, do a wonderful job. We used these on the stools that sit at the kitchen island. The cups are not as clear as they appear in the listing - they are much more "cloudy" in color so you do see them on a dark leg. Had I known that, I would have chosen a brown so they would be less visible.
