Bought these because I managed to make it out of the hospital with an IV still in my arm. That IV is essentially useless without a device with a Luer Lock connection, such as these syringes. My intent was to use the hospital-inserted IV for personal use of my own substance (that I use medicinally, just for the record). Unfortunately, by the time I received them, like 2 days later, when I attempted to use the IV, the line had fallen out of the vein in my arm, without me knowing. I figured it out very quickly and unpleasantly when I injected my dose. None of this had anything to do with this product. It worked just as it should have. It seemed to be of good quality and adequately sterile. No complaints about it at all. In fact, I was recently able again to leave another hospital with an IV and still had plenty of these left. This time, since I already had these on hand, I was successful using the IV with them once or twice. So yes, they work fine and I definitely recommend them to anyone needing them. What I don't recommend is trying to keep and use a medically-inserted IV any substance or medication unless specifically directed by a doctor or health care professional! The 20 mL syringes work great! They’re sterile, individually packed, and perform exactly as expected, which is perfect for my mushroom cultivation. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they’re not autoclavable, which wasn’t mentioned in the product description. If they were autoclavable, they’d definitely be a 5-star product, but overall, they’re still a solid choice. ... show more
