  • A Cable without Compatibility or Durability Issues that Supports the Latest Standards
Size: 6.6Ft Number of Items: 2
My previous experience with a Maxonar product was with an HDMI-to-display port adapter. It worked great for several years. I decided to try them again since I needed a durable, quality USB-C cable that delivers the flexibility to connect to different USB-C devices, charge at high rates, and communicate using the latest USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 standards. I have a 2020 Mac Mini, 2024 Macbook Air, Google Pixel, iPhone, and iPad. I use a Thunderbolt 4 dock and a monitor with a USB-C port that supports power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode. I have not had any trouble interconnecting any of those devices in several configurations. I've reached the maximum charge for the devices that require charging. It's a thick cable that feels well-built and so far has handled everyday use. While I lack testing equipment to verify full compatibility with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 standards, I have not encountered any behavior suggesting incompatibility that would impact my use cases. My data transfer speeds are at the expected speeds for the respective hardware. While it can charge all my phones and tablets to up to 100W, I cannot charge my phones with a case on because the connector housing is too large to fit through a phone case's port opening. But this cable wasn't intended for phones. It was made for computers, hard drives, connecting monitors, etc. It does all that very well so far. I like the packaging and presentation. It's nicely packed in a well-presented box instead of loose in a thin zip-lock-type bag. The connectors were protected with plastic covers. I recommend this to anyone who needs a well-built USB-C cable that supports USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 but doesn't want to break the bank. ... show more

  • Good bargain!

The quality is pretty solid, and they worked without issue to connect my older Thunderbolt 2 system via Apples adapter.

  • Highly recommended for anyone who values both speed and quality!
Size: 3.3Ft Number of Items: 2
Impressed by the Speed and Build Quality! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am honestly blown away by these Maxonar Thunderbolt 4 cables. I’ve been using them with my MacBook and external SSDs, and the performance is incredible. The data transfer speeds are blazing fast, making my workflow much more efficient. Beyond just the specs, the build quality is top-notch. You can tell these are premium cables—they feel sturdy, durable, and much more reliable than the standard ones I've used before. It’s a true all-in-one solution that has allowed me to replace multiple cables while maintaining 40Gbps sync and high-wattage charging. If you have a high-end setup with a Studio Display or fast external storage, these are a must-have. Highly recommended for anyone who values both speed and quality! ... show more

  • Excellent Thunderbolt 4 cable.
Size: 3.3Ft Number of Items: 2
Works perfectly as a Thunderbolt 4 cable. No issues after a few weeks of use and don't expect any. Well constructed. Good price for a TB-4 cable

  • Great displayport cable, not a TB4 hub connection
Size: 16.5Ft Number of Items: 1
So I wanted to hook up a monitor which has USBC and runs in alt-displayport mode. For that purpose this works great. Don't try to run audio from a hub though. The builtin DAC on my hub and another audiophile headphone DAC had fits so it's more TB4 compatible but don't expect Intel certified performance. As a great cable for my Mac Studio and 16" portable monitor it works great. No interest in testing it but it fit the bill as a great monitor cable, well built, and my Mac is across the room so it doesn't have to sit next to me in my living room recliner with the monitor that hangs perfectly when I am watching TV. FYI, sound on the monitor is fine so I'm thinking the data path isn't up to 20GBps snuff. Happy buyer, not perfect but a great deal. ... show more

  • Works like a charm and built like a brick house
Size: 6.6Ft Number of Items: 1
Finally figured out the c cable dilemma. Tried to find a c cable that would work with my portable monitor with one cable for power and video. This is a true Thunderbolt cable with all the bells and whistles at a good price and is thickest usb c cable I’ve ever seen.

  • Very inconsistent and continually disconnects
Size: 10Ft Number of Items: 1
Perhaps I have a faulty cable but the cable I purchased continually drops the connection and then will not connect again for several hours or even a couple days. I am connecting between a Mac Mini and Apollo Twin X; this was a cable recommended on a UA Apollo user forum. When it works it seems to function fine but after a couple hours it drops connection and then is unusable. I have a shorter Anker Thunderbolt 4 cable and this connects immediately and flawlessly. Hopefully I just have a bad cable but for now I will avoid this brand. I’ll update if anything changes. ... show more
