I ordered this for my mother, who loves dainty jewelry. This did not disappoint! A great value for the cost for a sterling silver chain! It does have the "925" engraved on it. Yes, it is thin, but that is the point... It's supposed to be dainty! This is a perfectly sized piece for her to wear with some of her lightweight pendants. Hangs just where it needs to, not too long and not too short. Doesn't kink easily. Clasp works and closes securely. It's a pretty little luminous piece- makes a great gift! My only tiny complaint is that I wish it were set in a piece of styrofoam inside the jewelry box it came in vs a plastic baggie, for a more high quality appearance.
