I used this 0903 Black Metallic X (Raven) Touch Up Paint on my Yamaha MT-03 before selling it, and I was genuinely impressed by how well it blended. The color match was nearly perfect — under daylight or garage lighting, it was almost impossible to tell where the repair was. For anyone familiar with Yamaha’s Raven finish, you know it’s a deep black with subtle metallic flake, and this pen captures that tone accurately. Application does take a steady hand — the pen tip dispenses more than you’d expect if you press too hard, so less is more. A couple of thin layers, followed by a quick polish after it cured, left a smooth and consistent finish. It made the bike look far better for resale photos and in person. For that point - I’m not sure how durable it is and how it holds up to scratches and wear over time. But the weeks I had it after using it were solid. If you’re meticulous about your bike’s appearance, this touch-up pen is a cost-effective and professional-looking solution, as long as you apply it patiently and with care! Great value and works very well!

This is pretty quality touch up paint. Super easy to use and seems to be scratch resistant so far. Keep in mind you'll want to buff it out to help blend it in so you can't really tell you used touch up paint. A little pricey, but worth it when you're OCD about how things look.

My husband recently bought a new Yamaha in Raven. Being new, it has no scratches, but having touch up paint on the ready is not a bad idea. The kit comes with a little brush and with a brush integral to the cap. He tested this paint on a piece of metal (red metal, see photo) and held it to the bike. It's a solid match. (And it covered the red.) He said he would have no concerns using this on his bike if needed.

I bought this so I could repair some of the paint chips on my 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere. The touch up color is almost identical to the original paint, although slightly darker, which I'm assuming is due to the age of my bike. My paint has likely faded a bit over the years. The color is close enough that it is barely noticeable though. This is a way better option than having to special order something from Yamaha's paint suppliers.

A very nice blue color comes with a little tiny brush to put the paint on and some tape to tape off the area needing repairs. It looks identical to the color I. The photos and was an easy apply.

OK, I don't own a Yamaha, but this is pretty close on the old Triumph Tiger blue that suffered some fairing damage. The idea was to mask the hot staples and JB plastic weld repair I did. Although the paint is truly purplish (as described) it does make the repair less obvious. The brush in the paint tube has an interesting shape where the end is very pointed allowing for application to some very thin scratches. Whether this was intention or not is up for debate, but it work well for me. They also include a small brush that looks like a mini flux brush. I dont think I will use that. Touch up paint is convenient because of the variety of colors, but pretty expensive for such a small quantity when automotive is half the cost; I get it - volume discount, but still. The pictures in the ad are kinda silly. This is paint for the body work and not side cases (except painted trims) or exhaust covers.
