When I first tried these on, I was a bit worried by its relatively rough texture. Once I put them on my feet, though, it felt just fine, and after wearing them through two wash cycles—they keep getting softer and more comfortable. The elastic is fine as well, and I particularly like the woven pattern. I don't know why, there's just something about it that makes it feel thicker and more plush without being too heavy. It's great if it gets wet, too; they're like wool socks in that respect. But there's something about the fit. I wish it was either longer, like a crew sock; or shorter like an ankle sock. But that's just a personal preference, your mileage may vary on that one.

These are nice socks. They feel durable. The hemp gives them a unique texture that's a little nubbier than cotton socks. They're stretchy and comfortable though; they don't feel rough on. They're neither thin nor thick. I wear a woman's size 9-9.5 narrow shoe and these fit well. I wore them to play pickleball in and they were cute and functional.

The socks are very comfortable to wear and the materials are breathable. Yet you need to be aware that the socks are pretty thin and not suitable to keep your feet warm in cold weather. My shoe size is 8.5 but the stocks are very tight to my feet so I deduct one star because the size is smaller than it claims.
