10/10 recommend. This board the is perfect board to get your kid to start wakeboarding. It’s SUPER easy to figure out. My daughter got up on the first try and has only fallen off to driver user error twice. Other than that we have circled the lake with her in the board multiple times- she does tricks (no hands, one hand, sign language hands, go from sit to stand and back and forth.etc). Great product for the money, easy to operate
Works as advertised, not sure of the age range but I can tell you my wife and my 5 yr old both use it and love it. My 5 yr old was able to use it his very first try, so i would say the age range is for anyone who can hold on, lol. The board is really fun for the whole family. Our family wake surf every weekend so having something that our kids can use and newbies can as well is a huge plus. Highly recommend for anyone!! Worth every penny

Faulty Handle

The stitching failed and the handle fell off within the first hour of use. The board worked great for the kids (all less than 50lbs) until the handle broke. After a slow response, customer service stated they are out of handles and sent a video to try and remedy the issue (which fixed a different part of the strap that apparently breaks). There is likely a quality issue with the handle strap, and multiple customers are requesting new handles. Edit: Zup sent a new handle that had 4 stitchings securing the handle instead of the initial single stitch. Raising the rating to 4 stars.

Grands loved it more than we imagined!

Ordered this for my 6yo grandson. He loved tubing and I had to offer the board to his 4 yo little sister in order to get him to try it. As you can see in the video, he got up 1st try, loved it, and can’t get enough of it. Second time, he was crossing the wake. Little sister cheered him on as you may be able to hear in the video. When it was her turn, she popped right up and loved it too. Wish I had two, so they could ski together! 10 out of 10 review. The video would not load, so here are a couple pictures. ❤️🇺🇸

Great for kids! One of the very best water toys available
Last year we bought the ZUP YouGotThis2.0 & everyone had a great time & was very easy to learn. We used it for kneeboarding, surfing, skiing & whatever, it is truly an all in one water toy. The only one who could not use the 2.0 was my 4 year old niece who is a little daredevil, she didn’t weigh enough to use the 2.0 without someone else hanging onto to the back. The “Coast” board solved this & she was able to ride alone and was even standing on it by the first day. This board makes it easy to get going without submerging. It is also fun for a 13 year old who can use the 2.0 too, he wasn’t sure which one he preferred. He is able to control both going in & out of the wake, and prefers using them as a knee board or to surf. The handle included on this was not used by either child & tended to get in their way, so we removed it which is very simple. Another advantage of the coast board is that smaller kids don’t have to worry about holding or attaching a rope/handle as it comes secured, although the traditional handle can be exchanged for the more advanced rider. The orange color is highly visible for other boats to see, especially when a small child is the rider.

Fun but needs work

Kids love using this board but it has some quality issues. First, the adjustable metal buckled for the handle strap broke after just 3 uses. I had to supplement / fix with my own carabiner. Also, the yellow elastomeric material is soft on the knees but also very easy to damage. Our board rubber material is littered with damage due to just common life jacket buckles rubbing against it. Looks very worn after just a few uses.
