My son is 18 months and he uses it pretty well, but he threw it on the floor and locking mechanism for the lid broke off. So I'd say it's great for 2+ or 3+ years old, but not quite for my 18mo old.

My kid loves it. It’s stainless steel so it’s strong. I got him a plastic bottle and he broke it by I guess throwing it on the floor in his back pack. He’s 5 so it’s easy for him to open and drink and you can also lock the lid so it don’t accidentally open.

This water bottle is incredibly easy to use. The locking lid is really neat. My three year old takes it to pre school and so having a cup that he could use independently and confidently was a priority. This meets those criteria for sure. I really like how the mouth piece/spout is designed to come apart easily for washing. I don’t have to worry about tiny nooks and crannies getting gunked up because there simply are none. It’s super easy to clean. Very practical. I would have liked to see better insulation in order to keep ice. I drop my child off to school with a bottle full of ice water, ice up to the brim of the cup before cold water straight from the refrigerator is ever added. Four hours later, we pick him up and there is no ice left in his cup. Does my small child HAVE to have icy cold aqua? No. But it definitely leaves room for improvement! ... show more
