7/21/23. After posting my previous review the vendor contacted me offering to send me another light at no charge, or to refund the cost. I liked the light when it worked so I asked for a replacement, which showed up promptly. So I'll give the vendor 5 stars for service, but only 4 stars for the product rating. I hope the replacement will give me good value for the money. I really liked this light while it worked. But it only lasted 4 months, and at that it was probably not used more than 3 hours a month. The assembly for this ring light was an absolute breeze and took me 60 seconds to figure out. Simple. And my GOD is it bright!! There are three different settings to adjust if you want a "warmer" or "cooler" setting, and there are several levels of brightness for each setting. The lowest option is still super bright and might still blind you if the rest of the room is totally dark. This is great in my opinion since the whole point is to be clearly illuminated, but it was definitely a bit of a surprise when I first plugged it in haha. I think it makes my skin look great, too! EDIT- The seller replaced the light that stopped working. I appreciate their customer service. These were great lights (I bought two) for around 4 months then one stopped working defeating the purpose of the whole thing. Now I have lopsided light that looks awful. I would love a replacement.

7/18/2023 Update: The seller replaced the light free of charge. So far it is working great. I will come back here with an update if anything changes. 7/3/2023: When the light worked it was great. The one star rating is because it only worked for about 4 months and now it doesn't.

I have been using this ring light on my desk since I purchased the item. I love the base that it comes with adding the right amount of support to move and adjust while staying in place! The light is good quality with different types of lighting to use. You can easily adjust the lighting to brighter or more dim and natural. I use this even just for the lighting to do my makeup because its just right for sitting at my desk and using the light. During the night I can rely on this product for getting some late night computer work or writing done. The attachement for holding a phone or small camera is lightweight and easy to use. 5/17/23 seller responded to my 1 star review promptly and offered a refund or replacement. In the meantime I decided to order an $8 5V/2A wall charger on Amazon which just arrived today & now the light works!! It was not apparent to me in the product information that this charger is ESSENTIAL…I think with most products the charger would have been included or at least a strong indication that you had to have the charger for the light to keep working beyond a few months. Anyway, it is a great light for zoom calls & I’m happy that it’s working again. The seller was really wonderful with her response. ... show more
