I prepare a month of pet food in advance, and I found the best way to store and pack so it takes up less room stored flat in freezer bags. Non-zip bags I used previously, frequently allowed moisture entry On defrosting and occasional freezer burn of the food, if not properly sealed. Because these are not prone to that they are cost effective dues to much less loss of food and cost of product. I am very pleased, use these to store the food in the fridge and rarely see leakage. Short of Heat sealing, which I use for long term storage,and not practical for daily use, this is the most durable and reliable product I have found. ... show more

I love these bags with the zipper closure. I usually buy a generic brand of these bags for the cost savings. I went to get one and realized I was getting ready to use my last one. I try to avoid the store and wasn't looking forward to going for just storage bags. Decided to look on Amazon and found a 4 pack of name brand bags for less than what the generic would cost me. This coupled with free delivery. A real no brainer. These bags are sturdy, perfect size and love the easy open/close zipper closure. I'll be looking into the quart size bags next. But that may have to wait as I see these bags are now listed for $10 more than what I originally paid. You still have to price shop, even on Amazon. ... show more
