OK. I am lifelong ziploc fan. It is the best in the market and does its job amazing. The only reason it got 1 star review is, boxing. I ordered it as subscribed item and box was came like damaged and taped later. When I opened it some dust got it. It wasn't major and I am going to wipe it and use it - it is too much hassle to repack it and send it back to Amazon to get a new product, but this is way lower than I expected from Amazon and their packaging. ... show more

I am very disappointed in this new design of the Ziploc freezer bags. The old ones could be sealed by "zipping" with your fingers. These had to be pinched carefully all along the sealing line and only then can they be zipped for the final seal. They also seem to be thinner than the old ones and wind up with tiny holes in the bag part after just one or two uses. I used to be able to clean and dry the old style and use them 4 or 5 times. Box was open and every bag I tried to use tears at the seal. I've used these for years and never had an issue. This is the first time I bought them on Amazon, and truthfully I don't believe this is authentic Ziploc bags because I have NEVER experienced this before with any of my prior purchases.

I honestly don't understand what happened here. I figured plastic bags couldn't go very wrong, and yet... The box was squished so the bags were peaking out and the bags themselves seemed to have a manufacturing error. The side seams were ragged and many had holes as if they had snagged on something in production. I tried to report them as defective only to learn that this item can not be returned, even if defective. Not ok. Buy elsewhere. ... show more

I'm upset about this. Not with Ziploc. Ziploc is a great product. Its about how this was shipped. This is the second time I have bought these bags with Amazon. Both times, the box was damaged because of how this item was shipped. It was shipped in an envelope, not a box. That doesn't make sense.     • why are they leaking at the corner

This is not the first time this has happened to me, but the quart bags develop a leak at the factory corner. Cant get the bar code cause I've thrown the box away. So I have no recourse at this point. I lost a qt. of chicken stock yesterday because it leaked at the factory corner. I'm glad it was on my drainboard and not the counter or in microwave. I've notices in the last few years that quality control on a multitude of things has the way of truth and goodness. But ziplock freezer bags.....??? ... show more

This box of ziplocs arrived damaged, the box was smashed and torn open, but the outer shipping box was not damaged. I was surprised to find out it was not returnable. That doesn't make much sense, and it's disappointing. I use ziplocs for storing food, and I want the bags to arrive in a factory sealed box and be safe. I don't want to use these bags for food storage now that they have arrived in this condition because I have no way of knowing what happened and if they are still factory clean. ... show more

I use these bags mostly for storing.foodin the freezer. Normally I have no complaints, but this time the opening wouldn't stay sealed & sometimes it wouldn't seal at all.
