    • The mid tones are mellow

Great 19” cymbal, with awesome mid tones that speak beautifully warm, has very good wash, good decay, somewhat of a bright bell, opens fair quickly, nicely controlled and offers good volume. As a pure crash cymbal, it does not have the stick definition that a crash/ride may offer but if you ride closer to the bell you can find a decent stick definition and articulation found in a crash/ride. It is lighter in weight than it’s 18” crash/ride equivalent. I also purchased the same in 18” and it too is a winner with slightly less subdued volume and wash. One of the things I noticed is that this cymbal does not exhibit upfront trashy tones, which I already have in my other cymbals, and, therefore, welcome this sweeter sound as an alternative shade of sound to own. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I give the quality of the crash is great 🤩but how they packed it was 💩 no styrofoam protection of the product it’s cymbal for Christ Sakes. Not a Lego set 🤬 theirs a few extra hammered marks that the machine(s) although it does enhanced it though But hey I’m a happy 😊 camper, at the logo is fine since that’s important when your drumming a company(s) products make sure you have your logos in good condition. However I do think that whoever packed my stuff needs to be trained not to cut Corners 😔especially on fragile items like cymbals overall I give it 5 ⭐️s but the handling I’ll give it a 2.5/ 5 DO BETTER!!!!!!!! Amazon/ I’ll stick to Sweetwater going forward! I would not bother because you guys would just do it again anyways 🤬 ... show more

I’ve used zildjian for over 30 years. I would prefer to buy cymbals after I’ve hit them in the music store. I had owned this same cymbal for many years so I knew buying another one on line would not be a disappointment if I couldn’t play it first. I was correct, when it arrived and I played it, it sounded awesome. Zildjian never disappoints . I highly recommend this and other zildjian cymbals. You too won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I've been replacing my old cymfor zildjians and I really am very satisfied with their sound, their looks, well, I love them, this one specially cause is an A series, an upgrade in my drum kit.
