This item appears to be family a owned/created product, based on the card which accompanied the chair. While the Amazon description reads "Once unboxed, give it approx. 24 hrs to expand to its final shape", the instructions suggestion 48 to 72 hours. In our experience it took was 24 hours, but we waited the full 72 hours. Highly recommend! ... show more

I got this chair for my 75 lb pit bull. I thought it would have some wood pieces, because it says “sturdy” in the listing, but the entire thing is cushions and is also 100% already assembled. It didn’t look like it would be, because the box did not look nearly big enough to hold the mini-furniture I thought I’d ordered. This kid chair was double shrink-wrapped so that it fit in there. Pulled it out of the box and even though there was a huge 4 page instruction booklet with it, the chair was already completely put together. It didn’t smell like plastic or anything, just plopped it on the floor and it was good to go. It was smaller than I expected, even though I’d read the measurements before purchasing, and I definitely didn’t think it was big enough for my dog at all at first. When it is folded as a chair, it is probably the perfect size for a cat. When unfolded, my dog Honey can lounge on it, and so far she really seems to like it. (I’m the first photo the little couch chair is on top of her normal dog bed, and she is beside the chair. It’s about 1/3 of the size of her XL dog bed) We move it around the house for her because she is one of those dogs that have to be everywhere her person is. I’m adding a bunch of photos because the listing looks like it was photoshopped and you can’t really see how the chair arms squish to one side or other when someone actually puts weight on it. And also because I’ve taken a bunch of photos of my dog in this chair and I think she’s the best and everyone should see a million photos of her. ... show more

This is such a cute sofa! It comes vacuum wrapped , once you open it, it starts to form right away. You don't have to do anything and it comes together quickly. Instructions say to wait for it to fully expands but I feel once you open and cut the plastic it expands great. It is very comfortable the foam is good quality and it stays put doesn’t sag. My toddler is 2 1/2 and I feel like it is the perfect size for her. She can sit on it comfortably and also knows how to unfold it to lounge mode. This convertible kids couch-bed has some pros and cons. On the pro side, it's very cute, with the large wale corduroy and gray color it looks like a mini version of a midcentury modern-style adult couch. The fabric is comfy and the mechanism to open and close it could not be easier. It's quite clever the way it folds up where the end of the "bed" becomes the back of the chair. On the con side, I wish the foam were a little thicker/heavie/sturdier. Like it's fine, but it's not screaming high quality. The other thing is how it doesn't quite fit/fill out the fabric caser. You can see in my photos there is obvious bagginess. That just makes it look a little cheap and if it were more filled out, it would be a thicker sturdier piece. All that said, my kid thinks it's great, he immediately wanted to sit and lay on it, and I think we will get a lot of functionality out of it. Definitely enough value the justify the inexpensive price. FYI I'd say it's the right size for a 2-4 year old. ... show more
