Was looking for a dress for a fairytale birthday party for a friend. Came across this one. I read a ton of reviews which were good. I was undecided about sizing. The amazon size chart is way different from the products size chart. I usually wear a xl or 2x. I ordered a 2x and it fit perfect. I'm just under 5'5" and I wore boots that didn't have much heel. And it is long. I had to hold it up a bit on occ when I walked. I will be having a seamstress cut off about 2 inches so I don't trip. Over all it's comfy, durable, it is a little see through but it's white. What do you expect. Over all a huge plus with this one. It came wrinkled. And I did iron it. low setting. and it came out just fine. Just buy the dress already!! ... show more

Got this for the renaissance festival a bit last minute! But it worked great! The fit was true to size but was stretchy if your chest or waist needed a bit more room. It was incredibly breathable as it was a HOT day. Despite the white part being slightly see-through it wasn't unwearable and the colored over piece ensured I never felt exposed. The color was great and the price for a last minute outfit was great! All my friends and I got one in different colors and it worked perfectly for all our body types! ... show more

I saw several people wearing this outfit in different colors at the ren faire I went to! It was mega hot outside and the fabric was breathable and comfortable. It so so cute and honestly awesome quality for the price in my opinion. Arrives wrinkled (as clothes in packages do), but after 20 minutes with my steamer it laid out perfectly! •BIGGEST perk for me was I didn’t have to wear a bra haha. When it’s so hot outside, it’s nice to have the option not to wear one, and the white fabric was not see through at all. •No noticeable sweat stains, the fabric doesn’t soak like crazy which is super nice because it’s usually pretty hot at outdoor events like ren faires, which is what I assume most people get this dress for. •As someone who is 5’4 the white dress was too long, but it’s super easy to tuck the excess fabric into the waistband and safety pin it! •I ordered the small and it was still a bit big; I’m usually a small/medium, but I’m this case I kind of? wish I’d ordered an XS. I like stuff to fit a bit looser though, so it’s up to you. The colored corset overlay on the dress really helps adjust the whole thing to literally anyones body though. We do food vending at a renaissance faire and are expected to be in costume, when I purchased this I thought it was the outer dress only, so it was a great surprise that the underdress came with, I wear an Xl and I ordered 2xx, and it fits just fine, the outer dress can be laced up in the front and the back which allows for a range of size, I am 5'4" and it is to long for me, I need to hem it, but other than that it seems to be well made. I did put it on and wear around for a bit and it kind of holds the heat, the faire is in July and August and I am hoping that the dress is not to warm. ... show more

The dress is nice BUT I ordered a XXL and was sent an XL and its so tight it barely fits. I am so disappointed. I have the option to return and get my money back but Im not going through that trouble. It was Amazons mistake I don't understand why I have to do a return.

Great fit, fabric was solid, not thin. Hem didn't fray even though it took a lot of dragging. We took our granddaughters to the festival all dressed up in renaissance costumes. The girls looked amazing and were very happy with the dresses. This dress brought out my granddaughters blue eyes. She loves it so much she asked if she could keep it and wear it for Halloween. The straps make thus dress adjustable so I imagine she will be able to fit in this dress for a few years. No stretch ... show more
