I really love Zeus products and the Vanilla Rum scent. I hope this doesn't offend Thor, the REAL god of Thunder. My only issue is I wish the scent was a little stronger, as apparently no one ever smells it like they have other deodorants I've used.

This was my first foray into Zeus products and this is an impressive, if basic, kit. First there is the soap. It has a nice sandalwood scent when just sitting in your hand and slightly more if you rub it on your body in the shower. It had a moderate lather rubbing the bar right on the skin. Not terribly impressive but adequate. To truly appreciate the sandalwood bar of soap, take the time to actually take a bath and relax. Rub the soap into a washcloth and use that instead of just the bar on your skin. When you do that it really seems to unlock the wonderful scent of the soap. It is potent but not in any way too strong and almost makes it feel like you are in a spa because the aroma is so nice. This may seem like a hefty price for a towel, bar of soap and 3.4oz of deodorant. That was my first thought. You have to take into consideration that this bar of soap is a whopping TEN OUNCES. Most of the fancy type soaps on Amazon are as small as 1.5 ounces and the really big ones max out at about 4 ounces. They sell for anywhere between about $7.00 and close to $15.00. This bar is anywhere from 2.5X to 4X the size of many of the other premium soap bars on Amazon. Next up is the natural deodorant. I've never used anything but a stick and on occasion an aerosol spray before. Just lift the arm and spray. 3-5 squirts into each pit is sufficient. You could probably get away with as few as two but three is probably optimal. Like the soap, the deodorant smells great. It is not particularly subtle. Someone could be socially distanced from you and they'd probably still smell it. Hopefully they will like it! Finally, there is a towel included. It's probably about 14 inches square. There is nothing special about it but it is good for wiping sweat off your face, wiping your hands, and in a pinch you could probably use it as a large washcloth. It's not super fancy but not cheap junk either. It's probably a little thicker than your average bath towel. For $30 you're likely getting soap and deodorant that will last for a good three months if you don't leave the soap sitting in a pool of water. I have no idea how long the deodorant will last but, I wouldn't be surprised if that goes three months or more depending on how heavily you douse yourself with it. You could use some other unscented anti-antiperspirant and then use this deodorant as a cologne if desired. This is an awesome set with awesome products at a very reasonable price. Great to buy for yourself and most any guy would love it as a gift so long as they like the scent of sandalwood or whatever other variation you might get. 5 stars all the way!

What a wonderful gift that you can give to a man who wants a masculine scent. You get a towel with the Zeus name branded on it. The facial towel measures 13 in by 13 in. The presentation is perfect. I show a variety of photos to give you a sense of it. There's no strangeness at all to the presentation it is great right out of the box. the box itself is quite sturdy and can be reused multiple times. The packaging is exquisite. The product is made without having been tested on animals. It is cruelty free. Paraben free and sulfate free. I hope the photos are helpful. This is made in California.

This would have been a nice gift. However, the kit I received have a tape wrapped around it which also trapped a piece of dirty paper or tape under it. There was no way to remove the tape neatly without ripping the paper sleeve around it, therefore, making it unpresentable as a gift. So bear that in mind if you are purchasing this as a gift. For self use, I think it is fine. The tin box and the washcloth are kind of nice but useless. So you are more or less purchasing an expensive set of deodorant and soap. They do smell good.
