I always think I’m going to love a dress I found on Amazon, but am usually disappointed. This is no exception. I debated between going with a medium or large, but since I’m in between sizes, I went up with the large, thinking it’s supposed to be a loose fitting dress and it would look fine, but somehow, it looks like a sack or pajamas on me. It doesn’t help that I’m currently nursing and several sizes larger in the top than I normally in, so maybe when I stop it’ll fit better up top. The back actually has sort of an elastic waist, which is unnecessary on a loose fitting dress, so it ends up just bunching in the back. And just looks off. For something that fits so loosely, the shoulders are more narrow than they should be, so the ruffles on the sleeves just kind of stick out. i think the style overall could be really cute and maybe it just takes the right body part, but it falls short.

This dress is super cute and looks just like the photo. The material feels linen-like, but it didn’t shrink at all after being washed and dried on normal settings. The rick rack trim stayed flat after washing/drying and surprisingly the dress wasn’t wrinkled when I pulled it out of the dryer. It’s oversized so order your regular size. If you are small busted you could safely size down one. Unfortunately, mine did come with a hole in the pocket. It’s an easy fix but at this price point I wouldn’t expect to have to fix anything.

This dress is really much bigger than the size chart indicates. I love the big rick-rack and I have a black jacket with white big rick-rack that I planned on wearing this dress with. The sleeves are also too big, to fit into the jacket. Fortunately I know how to sew and can take up the dress. The fabric is nice and washes well and the style is very summer and comfortable.

I have other dresses by this brand and the sizing is a little all over so just each size guide before adding to cart. This is cute and covers my arms which I am self-conscious about. Wore it wine tasting and it was perfect! I am 5'4 and length was great with sandals or heels.
