I love the material of this dress, but more importantly, the ruching. After losing over 50 lbs, I’m still left with a little bit of a pooch, so I normally don’t wear fitted dresses. The way the fabric lays is SO flattering and I actually feel confident in a fitted dress! It’s very stretchy, and the neckline is nice without being too low. I’m 5’7”, 145 lbs, and a 36 D and got a medium. BUY IT, you won’t regret it!

Wife: Body fit well. Sleeves are just wow. They’re even poofyier than in the picture. Body of the dress was flattering for a petite woman with a mom tummy. The ruching hid things well. Neckline was sexy but not too low. At 5’2” the skirt was tight and short but not inappropriate in any way. Overall, it flattered my body. What hurt my soul was the sleeves. They were about 4 inches too long, and I have very long arms. But the poof. Whoa. At full capacity I’d bet they’re 16” in diameter. It’s an amazing waste of fabric. Half as much would look more like the model and less like an 80s prom - and not a good one. I looked at just removing the sleeves, but it wouldn’t be that easy. You’d have to cut some sort of cap sleeve shape and hope the mesh tule holds up in some way. Modifying just wasn’t worth it for a $30 dress. Returned. Quickly.

I really liked this dress! It made me feel confident and attractive which is really all you can ask from a piece of clothing. Fit wise, I'd say this is true to size but very forgiving. My measurements (40-31-47) are always all over the place on size charts but I generally order a large in dresses. I did for this one as well and I'm pretty happy with how it fit. If your top half is lower than your bottom then I might suggest sizing down - I didn't have time to order and try a medium so can't say for certain but I did wish it was a bit more snug around my chest/ribs. Given how stretchy it was I'm positive it would've fit around my hips fine but the ruching would've been affected so I'd prefer the minor quibble about the fit of the bodice. I only have two negative points. First, the sleeves are a bit ridiculous. Like, as an idea, I love it, but the execution isn't great - there is far too much fabric. I think if you removed like a third of the fabric they'd be the right amount of billowy but as they are I found it quite annoying. Secondly, the zipper is entirely unnecessary. It is very stretchy and therefore I didn't need to use the zipper to get in and out of it. Instead I had to deal with it sagging and causing a bump in the back - which may not have been an issue if I sized down but also, I may not have had an issue with the fit if there wasn't a zipper so...who knows. Overall, while not perfect, I do think it's a nice dress and incredibly flattering. Recommended.
