I rarely review items but I rely heavily on other reviews so I wanted to return the favor. I had low expectations for this dress and was surprised how much I liked it! It's extremely comfortable, moves beautifully and the fabric is prettier in person than I thought it would be. My only negatives are an interesting fold under the bust (I wasn't sure why they didn't pleat it on the reverse side) and the length. I am 5'7", 155 lbs, and the medium is about 3-5 in shorter than I would like. It works fine with flip flops but would probably not look great with heels. Loved this dress for our daughters fiesta engagement party. Taco bout Love. Was perfect and comfy to entertain in. Its Adjustable because of wrap style and belt. I am 5’8 and 150 lbs. 32 DD. Ordered the small and it was perfect. I have it tied tight here at waist.

    • Beautiful maxi dress for a tropical destination

The reviews had complaints that the dress ran small. The listing says the dress is cotton/poly blend. The size chart showed a large bust size as 40 inches-which I am but since it is a wrap style dress and buyers were complaining the dress was too revealing and didnt cover enough I decided to order the XL (bust 44 inches). I ordered the dress on a Wednesday with two day shipping and got it a week later. I loved the color! but I panicked when I tried it on as it was SO big-like 12 inches too long for me I am 5 fett 1 inches and pretty baggy on top but the good thing is it wrapped just right and covered me so nothing was exposed. I was about to cut 12 inches off the bottom and hem it but decided to wash it first and see if it would shrink. It DOES shrink! I looked at the tag and it is 100% cotton and says dry clean only-oops, but it worked out good for me as it shrunk 12 inches and in the top area and the color faded a little but now it fits me PERFECT and it will be perfect for a tropical destination. This dress is lovely. I am 5"7 and 150 lbs and 34D..I ordered a Med. The material will be great for summer. HOWEVER, it does open ALL THE WAY UP TO THE CROTCH if. You bend or sit. I am ok with this, and will just wear shorts underneath. But be warned. No matter what fit you are looking for, tight or drapey, this will be a factor. I have been searching for an Easter dress to wear to my son’s egg hunt. I didn’t want a short dress because of the squatting and bending over I’ll be doing, so I thought this dress would be perfect. I’m 5’7” 174 pounds at the time of this purchase and ordered the Large. While the dress fit (I love wrap dresses for that reason), the slit was positioned awkwardly on my thigh, which means any wrong movement and I’ll be inadvertently flashing people my panties. Yeah, no. I own other wrap dresses and usually there is more fabric to overlap, eliminating the issue I’ve mentiined. Even so, the color and pattern were pretty and just as they appear online. The material is on the thin side, which doesn’t bother me. There is zero stretch, so bear that in mind when deciding on a size. Also, the length is a tad shorter than I’d like—it hits above my ankles. I will be returning the Large and trying an XL to see if that works on me. ... show more

Stats - 36yrs old, 5'7", 170-175lbs., 38B/C bra, typically wears a size 12, or a 30 and 31 in miss me and true religion jeans, smallest i can wear is a 10 depending. I ordered a large in this dress. Length is dead on barefoot leaving it to where i can where wedges or flats and both would be fine. Chest area would still fit a 38D or 40C cup i am sure but if you're that size be prepared to wear a tank or show cleavage. Mine is completely covered, no cleavage showing. Material is thinnish but not too much so and perfect for the South Carolina humid hot summers. There is no stretch to the material. Mine had no defects and is flattering. If you have less than a B cup chest i seriously doubt this dress will work well for you in the bust area unless you know a seamtress to tailor that part to you or buy a bombshell bra from VS that adds two cup sizes to you. Boyfriend and my kids absolutely love it on me and i am extremely picky about my clothes and how they fit, but i would absolutely recommend this. I have the mom belly to hide and it does this very well. Will probably order this dress in another color bc it is that flattering in person. ... show more
