This was perfect for an event i was attending. An outside gala on a farm. The dress is simple but looks great on. Not overly dressy or too casual. Lots of compliments on it. The blue is an amazing color and it fit perfectly. I’m 5’3” and was worried it may be too long but was just the right length, even when worn with flat sandals. I bought this dress in hopes it would work for a college graduation I’m going to in May, and it’s perfect for that. I’m 4’11” tall and under 100 lbs., so finding clothes that work for my size can be challenging. This exceeded my expectations! For a length reference, it hits just below my calf muscles. I purchased the black with white trim, and the material is substantial, nice quality, and not at all see-through. The straps are adjustable, which I love. The top part is very comfortable because of the stretchy smocking on the back that stretches. I find the dress to be very comfortable overall. It feels like it will be breathable also. I washed it in cold water and hung it up to dry, and it washed up great. I shook it out before I hung it up to dry, and I could definitely get away with wearing it without ironing or steaming it. Super cute dress! I loved the color and fit. The only downside is that it does wrinkle from the dryer which required me to iron it. I would not recommend it for travel but is nice for a fun Summer dress. You can also wear it with a light t-shirt if you don't want bear shoulders.
