I'm really picky when it comes to buying dresses online, so when I tell you that it took me hours of searching to settle on this dress, I mean it! I am so glad I took the leap on this dress! I'm short and I can't change my height. The dress is beautiful but it was very long on me. The top was very fitted on my top curves didn't look flattering on me. The material and design was top notch. I perfect dress for the right person.

Both my daughter and I bought this same dress (though she doesn't want to twin with me so we agreed not to wear it at the same time haha). It does run a little small. She normally wears a size XS (shes 5'8" 125 lbs), but went with a small and it fits perfect. I usually wear a medium (5'8" 145 lbs 36B/C), and went with a large. It fit great. The stretch in the smocking makes it hug that area and not look overly big, while flowing nicely and not hugging the hips and lower belly like a medium probably would. Having several children, I definitely have that mom pooch, so fitted dresses aren't very flattering, but this style does not emphasize it all. It's not really sheer fabric, but is pretty thin, so I will wear a slip with it. Also, while it came very wrinkled in the packing, we ran them through a cold wash cycle on delicate and hung to dry and the wrinkles fell out. They are ready to wear without needing to iron or steam.

Very cute dress, very girly. It is a little more pink than lavender, but try it on, I think you'll still like it. It is a little sheer, so a slip should be worn with it. I'm a big fan of the arm sleeve, as I like the coverage but it isn't tight on my underarms.
