Gorgeous, flattering, well made shirt. It has a looser weave appropriate for summer, but the fabric is still substantial enough for year round wear. I’m 5’2”, so I always roll up sleeves. This is a nice lightweight linen shirt. It fit well, maybe a little tight around the bust. I stretched it to, hopefully, fit a little better across the bust because overall it fit well. This is NOT a linen shirt. This is NOT a cotton gauze shirt. This is a cotton lawn-type button-down blouse. Disappointed when fabric was not as described. The print is pretty and true to the photos. The fit is slightly oversized and flowy. I am very petite (5'0 , 125#) and it fit well without hanging too loosely, though I do have to roll up the sleeves ( that's expected.) The material is soft cotton, but not gauze or linen. It is light, but I was hoping for a gauze or linen shirt that would be a little more summery. Overall, it's an ok shirt, but I am done trying to get a textured linen or gauze shirt on Amazon & getting plain flat cotton. I have better luck at Goodwill & secondhand stores. ... show more

7-27-2026 Just received. I'm 5'7" 180lb. Usual size is a large. I purchased XL cause I wanted it oversized & to allow for shrinkage, wish it wasn't made in China. This shirt is very black, 1 pocket & black buttons. The sleeves are at the wrist, has 1 button & can be folded up easily. The length of the shirt is just below my butt. Some of the reviews mentioned the heaviness or thickness of the fabric, while others stated it was soft. It always amazes me how reviews of the same product can be so contradictory. Those in the thick and heavy camp win this round, at least for the color black. This is a very coarse, scratchy cotton/linen blend. It’s a nice shirt, but it is far too heavy for a hot summer day, and I don't think washing will help. In terms of fit, the length is great, but cut is odd. The sleeves are very long, and while it's oversized, I found it so tight in the bust that the front gaped open at the buttons. Going up a size would have made it enormous on my frame because it was oversized everywhere else. Well-placed darts would go a long way here. Otherwise, the shirt is well-made and appears that it would hold up well. Had it fit, I would have kept it for other seasons, but it's far too heavy to be the light, gauzy, summery shirt I was looking for. For reference, I'm 5'3", 120 lbs, 2 or 4 in jeans, 32DDD, and this review is based on a size Small. ... show more

These are great shirts! The cut is so figure flattering. I like my shirts comfy loose,but not oversized for a button- down. They have nice features like a rounded hemline, back pleat and matching buttons. I love that the chest pocket is properly placed, lays perfectly flat, and doesn't make my chest look weird. The shirts have a tailored, polished look - nothing sloppy here. I bought 5 so far and NONE have sewing flaws or loose threads. Excellent sewing quality and consistency with the shirts I got. The sleeves, cuffs and color are perfect. All 100% nice cotton. The prints are much thinner, smooth cotton that is very lightweight but still has nice body. The solids are made of a thicker ,linen-like texture cotton , still lightweight and cool, just not see- through and wimpy like gauze. I look off one star for the white color- it's not white. It's off white and I wanted a white shirt. I kept it because it's so hard to find a NICE, reasonably priced , 100% nice cotton button down that really flatters my hourglass figure. I'm 16/18 bottom, 50 inch hips, xl- 1x top, 38D, 5'7 , 225lb. The xxl fit great with room to be comfy or layer underneath. I got hot easily so I'm thrilled to find these shirts for hot weather. They are colorfast and wash(cold) great too. I dried on low and there was no shrinkage with any of the shirts. ... show more
