This is the second Zagg keyboard and case for iPad I’ve owned and it is nearly perfect. The only thing I don’t like about it is the material the case is made of—it’s a bit scratchy. I bought this to replace my dead Apple Keyboard. It arrived this afternoon. It was easy enough to put my iPad into the case into the upright/partially leaning position it did so easily but when I tapped on the screen (which I do frequently) the screen bounces around. I found that to be quite annoying and not useable. I called Zagg and they said that was normal for the Folio 2. I gave it a 2 for sturdiness because of the bouncing of the screen. When you buy these by the gross like I do, you need something that is a cross between inexpensive and "it just works." These pair easily, charge quickly, and generally work pretty well. The USB port can be weak and break on the USB model, though with the USB-C model, this seems to be greatly improved. I brought this tablet case for my mom, who wanted a keyboard that would be simple (a regular "delete" key rather than a "backspace" and "delete" key). As a start, it fits for the iPad 9th generation. Everything came intact, and placing the tablet in the case was a little difficult at first since I thought I would break mom's tablet but that was because of the sturdy plastic material, which is a good thing! The material that makes up the exterior of tablet case looked like fabric but it's likely a form of plastic too. In any case, this tablet case should be durable as it seems. Finally, the keyboard was easy to connect as there was some battery when I turned it on (a little less than 50% based on the manual guide but normal so it's not an issue). All you need to do is turn on the keyboard, the bluetooth key that's on the keyboard itself (press 3 seconds) , and go to your settings on your tablet to connect. I took pictures so people can have a general idea what to expect. On one of the images is everything that is included (case, manual/guide, and charging cable for the keyboard). I got this in august 2022, so 5 months ago at the time of this review. I love this so much. I got this for school and I have never had an issue with it. I charged it once I got it and have never charged it since and the keyboard is still not dead even with several days of forgetting to turn the keyboard off! I've accidentally dropped it pretty hard a couple of times and it was still in good shape, nothing broken and keyboard still working! This case has been the best out of 2 other attempts with other brands. I haven’t charged this case in months and it’s still going. The charge lasts SO long and I am in college, a comms major so I write A LOT. This case is awesome because the keyboard is actually connected and doesn’t slide out like majority of the other case options on amazon, it’s actually built in and inexpensive compared to the apple cases. UPDATE: It has been several months now and while the keyboard is very convenient my “t” and “y” keys periodically stop working for some reason? No idea as to why but I will click them and nothing. Then time will pass by and I will try again and it will lag and eventually work. Not sure why the keys are not immediately responding but I probably will need to get a replacement as it is very annoying trying to type and realize a letter did not catch. ... show more
