I originally bought the case for my Toyota Tacoma to use on the Qi charger. Unfortunately because of the iPhone 16 pro max cameras the case doesn’t sit level and so it won’t charge unless you take it out of the case. Poor design that Toyota did for the charger! However the case was way better than my last one! That’s why I gave it five stars! Case is very rugged and it does really protect the phone! This is an incredible case. It's crystal clear, very lightweight, covers the edges of the phone to protect all the edges, including the glass, all without being bulky. It's also slightly grippy, but not enough to catch on clothing, just enough to not slip out of my hand. I looked at other reviews re: MagSafe charging. If you want to lay your phone flat on a charger, it will charge through the case. But if you, like me, want to use it on an upright charger, it wouldn't hold the phone up. I would recommend going for the higher price version that includes the MagSafe charger ring. ... show more

If there was an option to give a review of zero stars then I would, that is how disappointing this case is. I recently bought my brand new iPhone 16 pro max and wanted a clear case and thought this would have been a great choice but I was completely blindsided. The description claims that it can withstand up to 13ft of protection but tell me why when my phone slipped out of my hand from my waist line which is about 2-3 ft from the ground it fell on the corner then landed on the face of the screen and the case did not hold my phone in place so my phones screen got a slight dent and my new screen protector cracked mind you this is only within three days of having this new phone so I was pissed. Then two other times it fell one from my waist again and out of hand while standing up and this case cracked in the back and the bumper slightly goes over the screen broke and it’s starting to come off. So all in all do not waste your money on this cheap case I bought this for the clear aesthetic and to protect my phone and it barely did that and the case looks like this after using it for only about 3 weeks. I was too late for a refund but I wish I had returned this sooner because I want my money back, you would think it would be a top tier good case considering I spent $40 but nope it’s the complete opposite, I’ve had cheaper cases that were $10-$15 and more durable and they withstood and protected my phone better than this wack cheap ZAGG case.
