Recently bought my 2012 F150 FX4 and was looking for some ideas to spruce it up. A long trip on some backroads at night, and I knew I had to look at lights. New headlights were out of my price range so I thought I would start with fogs. Came upon these when browsing for LED bulbs. Thought for around the same price, why not check them out. Liked what I read and saw in the ad and pulled the trigger. Live in Canada and ordered around Christmas so thought I'd have to wait awhile. They arrived in about a week. Impressed. They were packaged very well and I was impressed with the build quality. Next step, install. Was breeze. Had old ones out and new ones in in under 20 mins. Left wheels on. Didn't think it was worth the time to Jack up the truck and take off tires. I'm impressed with the light output. They are bright. Need to go back to adjust them up a bit more. But had to go to work so that'll wait until tomorrow. Loving the look of them. The darker housing makes the fog light area of the truck look meaner and fit the black/white look I'm going with. The OEM fogs stood out like a sore thumb. I highly recommend these lights. Great value, easy to install and build quality are what stand out. ... show more

Way brighter than factory fog lights. Easy to install

I didn’t know what I was missing until I installed these to replace my corroded dull original fog lamps. These are really easy to install. Took about 45 minutes to replace only because the originals were corroded and I had a hard time getting them out. Make sure you measure your factory light height pattern before you take the old ones out so you can adjust the height after you install these. Super bright lights are way better than factory ones. Big improvement over OE halogen fog lamps.

Upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was the lack of instructions. But, I crawled under the front bumper of my '14 F150 to see what would need to be done. I did not jack up the front end. My truck has a 2" leveling kit and 33" tires so there was enough room to get under the bumper. Unplugged the factory connector and removed 3 10mm bolts and the old assembly pretty much dropped out. Removed the adjusting screw and popped out the spring. The tricky part was prying out the ears on the factory housing to release the halogen assembly without breaking the tabs. A judicious application of force and the lights separated from the housing. I reversed the process using the factory springs and adjusting screw to complete assembly. The factory J nuts slip around on the frame a bit when reinstalling the assembly but that wasn't a bit deal. These lights are polar so if they don't work at first, reverse the plug. All told, about thirty minutes to install using a 10mm socket, flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips to adjust. These lights are much brighter than the factory halogen with a flat, wide beam. The plastic on the lens is soft and easily scratched so a good coat of wax is probably a good idea. ... show more

Easy to install. If they dont work simply rotate the power connector. They come clearly marked L and R. Good sized metal heat sink to disperse LED heat. Using on an FL plated F150 2020 XLT - so F DOT markings that ARE on the lamps dont really matter. Remeber to properly align against a wall so not to blind other road users. ... show more

I bought a pair of these(without the DRL function) two years ago after the OEM’s became waterlogged from the inside out. They’re bright, look oem, and are easy to install with 15 minutes of free time and some plastic trim tools. I have Bambi mode enabled on my truck so they are on anytime the lights are. Last week one burnt out on me which was a bummer. So you know what I did? I ordered another pair. Why? Because they’re $60. I’m still saving $450 over Rigid even after buying the second set. In short, you get what you pay for. And while I did have to replace them after two years, they still performed great for the money so the value is there. In conclusion: if you want an LED replacement fog light whilst still saving money in an effort to survive in todays economy where milk and broccoli costs $100 then these are a good option. ... show more
