Before, I've had cheaper generic flat monitors and it's serviceable. I bought a new pc, one that's designed to max out 1080p gaming and I was browsing for a monitor to match the quality, and this had very glowing reviews, well deserved. It's my first curved monitor, and it's definitely cool, and it does have the specs you would want in a gaming monitor, especially where capping at 1080p isn't a downside, like I have a 4K TV for my consoles and streaming box, but on the computer, the high end quality display feels like I don't need a higher resolution (plus I'd also need a pc twice as expensive if I did.) My only real gripes are mild. The stand it comes with is a bit flimsy, once you get it on there, it's solid enough, but move it around and it might start tipping down. As much as it's kind of a hassle with TV stands that have screws, at least those keep it attached. But if you have the wall space, you can buy a wall mount. The other thing was the DP cable it came with, I was having the occasional issue where when booting up the pc, something wasn't being recognized and I had no picture, unless I used a spare HDMI cable. I did buy a new DP cable, a really high end one, and it seems to have fixed the problem, I probably had a faulty one in the box. So nothing big to complain about. And for the price, it was on a flash sale when I got it, and I couldn't imagine a better gaming monitor for a modest price. Also, the HDR is nuts, I've never seen HDR where the black and white is so subtle, like you can go to the minimum and maximum, and it's so subtle over if you can see the logo on the black or the white. It really makes me want to buy Silent Hill 2 Remake on PC just for the HDR experience, even though I'll still be too creeped out to make progress in that game. ... show more

This is my 2nd Z-Edge monitor. My first one went out after 5 years, and it was awesome until the very end. Tried to buy an LG monitor, but the colors looked muddy and inaccurate. This one seems to be spot on, just like my old one. And it was less expensive than the LG! I'm not a gamer, so I can't really attest to refresh rate, but it does very well in Photoshop. Nice curve and no glare, and a very good size too. I'm a fan. ... show more

Well I like it very much, so nice, big screen, can keep up with anything I have put on it. There is only one problem, there is one dead pixel about the center more to the right bottom corner and I just got it, it happens but I have only heard good things though about their customer service so not, not worried at all lol. Screen still worked though turned right on with my custom pc and all of the features were there and worked. I did everything I know how to troubleshoot the dead pixel but no luck it's a Sunday so not worried. still great product great for 1080p gaming nice price great performance from what I have seen and if you want to know about on board speakers it's a monitor not a TV so not loud at all or even close to being good but this is a great MONITOR that has sound. Would definitely recommend this it is very nice lol didn't even see or read about the rgb before it got here haha went off the black and white for this one and yes it's good...one dead pixel though. To add to my previous up above, they replaced my defective product and sent me a new one. It is still working just fine, great product, great customer service.     • Great picture, but light leak at times

I just bought an OLED and looking at it beside this monitor (with the right settings), honestly I'm not sure I think the OLED looks that much better. Using Radeon software I turned up the saturation and contrast while turning down the brightness, and honestly this monitor looks great. Not sure I can say much about color accuracy without the right tools, but to the naked eye they look good. Only downside for me has been some pretty serious backlight bleed during some scenes. I don't notice it all the time, or even often. But it bothered me enough the other night that I ordered an OLED. Apparently light bleed is common in VA or IPS but non existent in OLED. Now that I have my new monitor side by side with this one though, I honestly think the picture looks so good on this VA panel, that it nearly rivals that of the new Philips Envia I bought! So weird. I know VA panels are supposed to have some backlight bleed. I would say 90% of the time it doesn't bother me on this monitor or I don't notice it. The other 10% it ranges from barely noticeable to fairly irritating (the latter being fairly uncommon...I feel like it's only during very specific gaming scenes where it's so bad that I'm bothered by it...but it's there). So, in short, the picture is amazing, but backlight bleed (while common in LED panels) seems a bit worse than normal at specific times. The menu is pretty goofy, but gets the job done. 200hz refresh rate isn't terrible. But I'm sure if you need more you'll buy something smaller at this price point. The 32" picture is quite large, which is what I prefer to refresh rate. All in all, a pretty decent monitor for the price but be aware that you might have backlight bleed issues with this one that go beyond that of higher end monitors.
