Was worried because I purchased this months before setting it up (kept unopened boxes hidden until daughter’s Birthday) and had read some reviews with issues. Product was well packed for shipping- no damaged or missing parts...predrilled holes on bar lined up fine. Instructions could have used some pictures, or labels on parts for those without intuitive skills assembling things, but thought it was easy to put together. We did have to tap one brace a bit to get it narrow enough to slide in. Happy with quality for price. My 9yo ‘big for her age’ daughter is enjoying it daily. What is being currently shipped is not the same as the pictures. The mat will not lay flat because they have switched from a flat cross bar between the legs to a round bar. The round bar is higher than the flat bar and the mat has a bump where it goes over the bar. The product is fine if you use it without a mat, but the mat does NOT fit with the current product. I wish there was a way to contact the vendor, but as usual Amazon doesn't make that easy. ... show more

This is perfect for my little gymnast. She is 4 and this has been perfect for her to practice at home! Its like the one that she has in her gymnastics class! She is going to get lots of years use out of it because of the adjustable bar. During christmas break while my 8 year old neice who is also a gymnast was here for a week from NC practiced her bar routine on it instead of us taking her to the gymnastics gym to practice. Since we have been on "stay at home" orders my daughter has missed her competition gymnastics. She was really missing bars. We decided to get this and she has been so excited since. If you are gymnasts you know how important it is to keep your calluses. This bar is helping her do this. My husband bought some pads and put it outside on our patio. My niece came over and had fun just playing on it. The only thing was putting it together. My husband is an engineer and can put things together very easily. He did not find this easy. He had to go up to Home Depot to get some screws to finish it. Other then that is is very sturdy and overall we are happy with it. ... show more

My pre-teen child has been using it for a year or so. It’s held up fine. Be careful that fingers don’t get pinched when lowering the bar. If the two vertical poles are lined up/at the right position then it might collapse down (as designed to). The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it didn’t come with rubber bolt caps for the main bar/horizontal bar so they will slice fingers. We put hot glue on the bolts.
