When I placed my order for this shirt, I was not expecting to like it so much. The material is not that of a regular shirt. It is thick cotton material and I would not call this a shirt. Fits perfect on the chest area and does hang below the hips. I will be having mine cut and hemmed shorter to my waist to have it fit better. It also says "machine wash" but the label says "dry clean". I've read other customers reviews and they have washed their blouse with no problems. I will be buying more of these blouses in different colors.

Very cute top! The embroidery is very pretty and very secure. Some reviews said the stictching was loose. Mine is not. It is very “poofy” bc of the gathers in the back. Would make a good maternity top! I bought a large, but should’ve gotten a medium. (I am 5’2” 130lbs.) I stitched in the side hems and now looks great! Was perfect for my Cinco de Mayo party! One review said she couldn’t get the wrinkles out no matter how much she ironed it— to me it looks like the fabric is *supposed* to be a tiny bit rumpled to give it an old world look. The fabric is a little stiff, but I’ve only washed it once. The top is very comfortable and I like that the arm holes are large. I also like that the fabric is not thin or see through. I recommend this shirt AND the seller!! 👍🏼👍🏼

I bought this shirt for a Cinco de Mayo themed party, but I've worn it numerous times since!! It runs a tad big, but it sure is comfortable, light, and airy. And the embroidery pattern is so pretty! The quality is really good, the backing isn't itchy at all. I washed it in warm water in a washing machine and dried it on lowish heat in a dryer and didn't really shrink much or even loose its softness. I'm thinking about buying another in a different color and smaller size
