Item did not come with shorter screws for brackets so I emailed the seller. The reimbursed me the full amount. I bought a $2.25 box of screws about the right size and installed them. They hold up small items well. i.e. pictures, small plants. Read instructions.

These shelves look ok from a far, but they are not made well and the hardware is terrible. The wall anchors are the flimsiest I've ever seen. They kept either stripping or twisting apart from my hand screwdriver. Use your own if you have them. The screws do not countersink into the brackets, so they sit proud. The veneer is inconsistent. It worked ok for my configuration, but they put these little pilot indents in the shelves for the bracket screws. Totally unnecessary, and it forces you to have to have two shelves going one way, and two going the other unless you want to see the pilot marks. If you want all 4 shelves going the same way, you'll see these marks on two of them. I don't expect them to last long, and I would not put 60 pounds on them, maybe 30 max. ... show more
