Lived in Costa Rica. Very rainy. Have always purchased the calve high rainboots, but they are such a pain to get off and on and your feet get sweaty. They are only good for long continuous rainfall, if you have to only wear them for less then an hour, or and if you have to deal with high puddles and uneven terrain, which I did. Now that I am in California, the rain is unpredictable and you walk mostly on predictable even terrain and rarely, if ever, go into a deep muggy puddle, so why deal with the disadvantages of high rainboots. This was my mindset when I was looking for small rainboots. And these boot even surpassed my expectations. Not only are they everything you would expect in a rainboot, they have excellent traction, are very comfortable, so easy to get on and off and, the cherry on top, they are stylish enough so when it is not raining, you don't look stupid.

I love how they look but I am sitting here trying to get them on and I can't!! I wear a size 9 but ordered a size 9.5 to be safe. I can't even get my foot into them because the elastic is so tight and the tops so high. I have already broken a fingernail. :'(

I'm a size 8 & I initially ordered an 8.5 since they don't sell size 8....8.5 was way too big. Ordered a 7.5 and it was perfect fit! It's definitely worth the buy. They're cute and sleek. 4/5 star reasoning: pretty uncomfortable if you're not wearing long socks with these! (Still worth buying)

These boots are comfy and cute and a great basic rain boot. They are a little stiff, not sure if they will continue to break in over time. They do slip a little on the heel when I walk, I probably could have gone a half size down but thick socks solve the problem so it’s not a super big deal. If you’re on the fence about these, go ahead and buy them!

These Chelsea rainboots are comfortable and a good price. Look no further. I ended up having to wear them on a 6 hr. hike and my feet did not hurt one bit which is unbelievable for rain boots. They look great as well.

I usually wear medium width and rarely have width issues with shoes, but this one squeezed in quite a bit at the ball of my foot. It hurt to walk. I like the grippy sole and it will probably do a good job keeping the water out since it fits like a sock... but it is best for narrow footed people only.
