This is THICK! It is a very heavy duty shelf liner, with a peel and stick backing. I was able to remove it from a shelf very easily, but I cannot speak to how it’ll last over time. This shelf liner was on the shelf for less than three minutes before I decided I wanted the wood grain pattern to go the other way. It is very thick, so it is a little difficult to cut and shape around corners. Straight edges aren’t a problem, and it isn’t a challenge for a fresh blade on my Fiskar paper cutter. Pros: -beautiful -thick, and sturdy -covers up imperfections, and ugly colored shelves wonderfully -very forgiving if you mess up. It still stuck to my shelf after I reseated the liner three times. -comes with an OK amount of liner, but measure before ordering. You’ll be surprised how quickly the roll will go. Cons: -it’s so thick that I had difficulties cutting the corners with a razor blade -it started lifting while I was securing a screw (yes…it was punched before the screw went in). I fixed this by applying a little heat, and pressing the corners down until cooled. ... show more

Overall this is a great product. The reason for loosing a star are two things. One is, it is advertised as matching up to itself for blending one sheet next to the other. Though this is true, the sheets are not cut from the same starting line length wise and to match them required finding the match in the middle of the next sheet, which means if you start top down with one sheet and are matching with the one next to it, the start the for the next roll does not just match up. You will have to find in the second roll where the match is and cut a new top edge to coordinate that. Therefore, you will loose part of the length. This was not an issue for me because I didn't use the full length of the roll. The second issue is that the sheets tear somewhat easily. I made cuts with a box cutter, but if I had the supplies I would have chosen a razor blade. The box cutter worked, but did not make it through reliably and left uncut spots where the sheet tore. I was able to stick the torn part back with little visible issue, but just know to choose a sharp blade or scissors. The stickiness is five stars. It looks great, once found the edges that match pattern are invisible. Bubbles were not much of an issue and pushed out as I was sticking it to my refrigerator.
