If you don't like the feel of polyester, you won't like this. It neither looks nor feels like a natural-fiber fabric at all. (Some polyester garments do a better job of imitating the look or feel of natural fiber than this one). However, I don't object to the synthetic feel per se. In fact I rather like this fabric and so does my wife. The basketweave pattern of the surface texture is both visually pleasing and pleasing to the touch. It is - as the product listing notes - woven into the fabric, rather than printed on, so it has a 3D effect, a texture you can actually feel and that throws shadows that move with the light. This adds a touch of class, and a "dressy" feel to this casual outfit. Unlike a lot of synthetic "tech" fabrics, it has a substantial feel to it. It seems as if it will be sturdy under normal wear and tear. It occurred to me that this would be a good outfit to wear if you wanted to appear a little more dressed up at a beach party or pool party. The matching shirt and shorts give it a dressier feel and would make you stand out a bit in a group of people in random T-shirts and shorts. The product listing suggests these could be workout clothes too. They certainly allow for free movement and - if you buy the right size - will provide more than adequate modesty during the full range of motion. I think I myself would feel conspicuous and overdressed wearing these in the gym, but that's a matter of taste. Some people like to be looked at in the gym. I'm not a gym kind of guy (as you can see) and it's February, so I can't tell you how it is at wicking sweat away from skin during a workout and drying out after. The wine-red color is deep and rich, like a burgundy, and contributes to the visual "pop" and "dressy-casual" impression. The aglets on the ends of the shorts' drawstrings are bright metal with a stainless steel look. This too elevates the look above most casual shorts. They add a bit of sparkle and substance. As a practical matter, I think they are bound to outlast the flimsy plastic aglets one often finds on casual shorts, and they look much nicer than just tying a knot in the ends of the drawstrings. I turned the garments inside-out and examined the seams and hems for their construction and it looked quite satisfactory to me. I didn't see any apparent flaws in the construction. The neck opening had to stretch a little to pass over my extra-large head (hat size 7 3/4), but the fabric is a stretchy knit and 3% Spandex, so it returned promptly to original shape and I think it will do so for a very long time before showing any signs of being stretched out-of-shape. One thing I didn't particularly like about the fit of the shorts is that the waistband is too high for my tastes. It was actually higher than my belly button. I don't like the feel of that. When wearing this shirt and shorts as an outfit, that won't matter much to the appearance, as the shirt is plenty long enough to keep the waistband covered during all normal movements. However, if the shirt were tucked in (I'd never, but someone might) or if someone were to take the shirt off to get some sun, the shorts would have a rather "Steve Urkel" look and feel. Truthfully, though, I'm likely to only wear this as an outfit, not as separates, and probably only to an activity where I'd be unlikely to want to take off my shirt. Someone who cared to look could notice how high the waistband is under the shirt, but really, who cares that much at such an event, other than the person wearing the outfit? One thing I didn't like about the product listing is that there is no size guide. Most garments marked "large", with no numerical measurements, fit me acceptably, so that's the size I picked. It's maybe a *tiny* bit tighter than optimal on me. My nipples show through the shirt, which isn't ideal when I'm trying to look dressy, even at a "casual-outfit" event. A man with better proportions than I have might not see this as a problem. Indeed, he might be glad to have a shirt that clings a little to his pecs, showing off his discipline and hard work. I wouldn't want to size-up to avoid nipple-printing, though. These are sold as an outfit, and if I ordered the XL to get a looser shirt, the shorts would be absolutely ridiculous on me. It's not at all restrictive to movement, and quite comfortable. I'd call this garment "true to size", but I don't like gambling on that. I'd rather have chest and waist measurements to guide me, because various manufacturers have a wide range of ideas as to what constitutes a "large". On the whole I'm happy with the outfit. To my mind, it's a tad overpriced, but not ridiculously so.

This set surprised me in terms of thickness and overall feel. The fabric is noticeably heavier than a standard cotton t-shirt or lightweight shorts, and it feels durable rather than flimsy. The textured finish on the outside looks nice and gives it a more elevated feel compared to basic lounge sets. Fit-wise, this is a relaxed, casual cut. I’m about 135 pounds and ordered a medium, and it fits comfortably without feeling tight anywhere. The shoulders on the shirt line up well, and the length is good, but the overall fit leans more loose than fitted, kind of looks and feels "boxy". The shorts are also relaxed through the leg, which adds to the comfort but won’t appeal to someone looking for a slimmer cut or look. The material does feel a bit warmer than typical summer t-shirts and shorts, so this isn’t ultra-lightweight. It seems better suited for lounging, casual wear, or running errands rather than high-intensity activity. Stitching was mostly solid, though there were a few spots that weren’t as clean as I’d expect from a higher-end brand. Nothing major or deal-breaking, but worth mentioning. I also haven’t washed it yet, so it’s hard to say how the fabric will behave over time in terms of shrinkage or fit changes. Overall, this is a comfortable and well-made set with a durable feel, but the sizing and post-wash fit are a bit of an unknown at this point. I am a little disappointed in the overall look, I think I thought it would look/fit better in my head before I got it, but it’s still a good option if you’re looking for a relaxed, thicker lounge-style outfit, especially at this price point.

I wasn't expecting much from a matching shorts set at this price, but these genuinely impressed me. The jacquard texture gives the fabric a look and feel that's a clear step above your typical polyester lounge set. The material is thick and soft — not the thin, shiny stuff you sometimes get with budget sets. It drapes well and doesn't wrinkle easily, which makes it look more put together than you'd expect. The fit in the Medium is spot on — the crew neck tee has a clean, modern cut without being too tight, and the shorts sit comfortably with the elastic drawstring waist. The army green is a sharp color that works whether you're running errands, heading to a casual dinner, or just want to look like you made an effort without actually trying too hard. The stitching and overall construction are solid throughout. This is one of those purchases where you immediately think about going back for another color.

The YTD Men's 2 Pieces Outfit is very high quality. I thought they were a bit expensive, but they are a decent value for what they are. They are by no means work out clothes, but more heavy and thick, perfect for that in between day or lounging. They will keep you warm, but not too warm. As others mentioned, it is synthetic fiber and not organic, so it does not wick like cotton would. They are nice and soft and fit really well though. The color is really vibrant as well and because it is synthetic, it will not fade. Overall, the price is a bit high, but the quality is also very high. So I would recommend it if it's what you are looking for.
