Read review after review. For the price - it’s a nice blotter - lays flat pretty much out of the box. As a precaution, I did a re-roll the opposite way and works great. Not real thick, but does the job - felt like backing and depending on your desk surface it doesn’t move unless your moving it. For what you’re paying - well worth it and yes I spilled on it (cranberry juice). Simple paper towel - done - no staining. Nice mat!

Gotta admit I didn’t expect much, but this mat is super nice. It has a slight texture that gives it just enough tooth to hold my keyboard in place, and allows my mouse to roll seamlessly. The underlayment grips perfectly on my laminate surface. Came rolled up but laid flat immediately. It never seems to get dirty and the brown color I chose is awesome. I found that writing on paper on top of it, is so smooth and doesn’t indent the mat, whatsoever. This mat is wearing like iron. Lastly, I listened to other users and bought a couple for makeup desktops and will be great for so many other uses.

I bought the smallest size for my new desk. Sadly it was too small I did not realize that the smallest and next size up are actually multiple inches different. I ordered a second and decided to use the smaller one on the other side of my L shaped desk for crafts and lunch. It feels nice and the color is spot on to what I wanted. I like how it is heat resistant so it protects my desk from hot plates when I eat my lunch. I have noticed my mouse does not glide well on this as a traditional mouse pad. My mouse seems to move slower and sticks in spots. I may need to purchase a mouse pad to use but I like the pop of color so I don't mind keeping it as a layer of desk protection.
