It is easy enough to start bending things into the shape you want but does take a bit of time. You will probably want to put the pot it comes in to a different pot. PROs Tall, a full 7+ feet tall. EASY EASY EASY to assemble Customizable. You can bend and shape the palm fronds to you liking Weighted pot. Actually pretty heavy. Looks fairly realistic. 8/10 CONs Easy to over shape the palm fronds and they will not go back! Bend them slowly and in increments to avoid bending them too far. Pot is heavy but small. Tall tree in a small pot, tips over in a good wind. Repot them in a large pot and add garden decorative rock for weight. Overall, very happy!! Worth a buy. Hope this helps ... show more

That's when you realize that things have progressed. This is made of plastic, yet, it looks so real. You can't tell it is plastic unless you get very close. Both the base, the way the leaves are set up etc. make it look real. Just as pictured.
