As someone who has purchased and assembled a portable closet in the past, I went into this purchase fairly confident. It arrived quickly and the package wasn’t damaged. I started working and realized about 1/2 way through that I was missing about 12 of the longer metal rods. Frustrated, I contacted Amazon for a replacement so I could at least pull the parts from the new set. I didn’t want to deal with the manufacturer because I need the closet done within the next few days. The replacement arrived a couple days later with the same parts. I couldn’t find my original instructions but figured it would be ok bc I was getting new ones. Well. I realized quickly that the replacement closet was a different model than the one I originally purchased. So I had to completely take down the one I had almost finished to rebuild a closet I didn’t even select. The finished product is fine, relatively sturdy, and was easy to assemble. But unfortunately there seems to be a major parts problem along with a continuity problem with the supplier. I wouldn’t recommend this product, at least from this manufacturer. ... show more

Overall, the item looks like it will serve the purpose of being a "Temporary Closet" for storing some clothes while I live in a small bedroom space without an actual closet. It is lightweight so I would not load it up like a regular closet. There are 2 shelf areas which can hold that which is not hanging. I put fabric storage cubes on these shelves with things in those. The "ASSEMBLY" is what was "Challenging!" the poles were easy enough to figure out but the 2 bags of plastic connector pieces are not numbered and some of these look very alike so this caused some issues while connecting the frame and a few times had to taken apart and reconnected again!! There is on a PAGE (Front and Back) of parts description and assembly instructions which are limited in that! Be "SURE" to use a "RUBBER MALLET" as the main "TOOL" for each stage of connection -"Tapping SOFT to FIRM" to make sure each pole gets completely inside of the connecting pieces in every area of a connecting end!! This will avoid any separating while building and when complete - allow you to set it up. If done right - there should be no issue of it "Collapsing or coming apart" as some indicated. ... show more

This has been an inexpensive solution for limited closet space. I made sure to use a hammer to tap every pole in as far as it could go during assembly, so it’s been structurally sound. First things first I'd like to say and I have been in no way compensated for my review. My item we should fast and I received it in just a few days. It arrived nicely and safely packaged. After laying out all the parts and glancing over the instructions, I easily and non frustratingly put the whole closet together in about 25 mins. If I had to do another one, I could more then likely do it in about half that time. I have a large room but odly enough, no closet. I have had the unfortunate experience of leaving a few of my fav shirts hung up where the sun coming in through the windows had "bleached" them from the uv damage after being hung like that for almost 2 months. I had to find something that could fit where I wanted to put it & at least hold most of my clothes. I got this on sale at a great price too, so i figured what do i have to lose & ordered it. Very happy I Did! Perfect for my situation and needs. After assembling all parts, I had to ask a friend for a hand sliding the cover over the unit..... was kinda difficult doing that step on my own but otherwise, nice and easy build. Cover fits well and snug & front rolls up & secures with Velcro closures after unzipping. 4 small pockets on the right side of closet is a nice bonus. The company has been great, customer service has been wonderful and helpful, eager to answer any questions I had and wondering how it's working out for me. Excellent product at a price I couldn't afford to pass up! I would definetly recommend this to anyone who may be in a similar situation or just needs a nice place to properly store and protect their clothes.
