I use this to recycle broken tees for Par 3’s. They’re short, and if they brake, they’ve at least lasted for more than one tee and I’ve gotten my moneys worth on purchasing tees. I put the tees I sharpened next to a brand new yellow tee for reference. These tees should get some good use. Yes...I know it is not a MUST have to play golf. But it makes pushing a broken tee into the ground a lot easier. Some tee boxes where I live are very hard and it is not easy to push a broken tee into the ground...but now it is a breeze after sharpening the broken end with this cool tool. Try it.

I bought two of these tee trimmers - one for myself and one for friend. We have both had opportunities to use it and find it to work perfectly. I was skeptical when I ordered it , thinking that it would be just another cheaply made , disposable gadget. But it is not. It's very sturdy and I expect it to last a long time. It seems to work better for plastic tees than for wooden ones but it works great for both. I intend to buy more of them as gifts for other friends. ... show more

It’s a good idea, it worked a couple of times really well. Then the sharpening blade broke off or something else happened. And it cut at an angle and the shavings pack into the bottom.
