I wanted to have a clear ruler on hand with both inch and centimeter markings and this two-pack worked out pretty well for me. They appear to be made out of cast acrylic which gives them good clarity and some flex. They both have a small dimple near one end that was probably the spot where the plastic was injected into the mold during manufacturing. It sits below the bottom surface and doesn't affect the flatness or hang up on anything though. The markings are accurate enough for the given scales, though I would note that neither scale actually starts at the very end of the ruler. This could be good or bad depending on how you intend to use it. The rulers did both have a very slight bow to them, but it's really not that bad. Putting the rulers back-to-back, you can see the slight gap in the middle between them. I think these rulers are actually a great value for the price.

For years, we had an old wooden ruler in our house. Very nostalgic, but not very useful anymore. I’m not a big fan of plastic, but a transparent ruler makes a lot of sense. These rulers seem very durable, I think the plastic will probably last forever. But the markings on the bottom side could be damaged if the ruler is used on very rough surfaces. For shop use, there is no substitute for a metal ruler. However, these inexpensive rulers are fine for home or office use.

I checked these against a machinist's ruler and they are highly accurate. There was no difference between these and the high end steel ruler. These feel like the plastic is brittle and would break if bent to far. They are crystal clear and very easy to read. I keep one at my desk for quick measurements. These are a nice handy tool at a good price.

I've been trying to improve my drawing skills, and these rulers have helped me with learning proportion and edges. I can see through them, which allows me to better align what I am practicing. The plastic is smooth and the markings are easy to read. My kids also use these rulers for their homework and drawings, and they have held up to the toughness a kid can apply when using something. These are great!

These are sturdy, see-through, and accurate, making them a fantastic option for elementary or middle schoolers. The measurements don't start EXACTLY on the edge, which might be a problem for some people because you can't press it right against a wall, for example. If you wanted to use these for shop work or extremely precise measurements in a work setting, these obviously would not be the most durable for that situation. These are sturdier than other plastic rulers I have for my classroom though. Very pleased!
