On one hand, the angle they are at feels odd but I found I could put my base on much faster and the appearance was better. The one little round one worked well for getting into the corner by my nose which was always difficult. I heard people say that they come apart on the handle so I've got glue ready if that happens. I have all Mac brushes and I have to say the large one applies the make up better...how can that even be? I paid a fortune for those brushes some years ago. I wouldn't have replaced them but was suggested by a blogger and I am very happy. Bought 2 more sets for presents today.

I bought these after seeing a beauty blogger review them. I was unhappy with the expensive brushes I had so I figured, “why not?” The brush heads are incredibly dense, which makes for really smooth application of liquid foundation. The brushes are also incredible for applying blush and blending in your contouring, something I had never been successful with before. The smaller brushes seem a little too stuff to be of much use, though the really narrow one seems to be great at removing mistakes under the lower lashes. The one major flaw of this product is the handle quality. The plastic part is really flimsy and I am always afraid they’re going to snap. I’m planning to reinforce the bigger brushes with electrical tape. However, at this price, I am not complaining. Just one of these brushes is worth the price.

Okay, so there are multiple things I have to say about these brushes. First of all, I would probably rate these more around a 3.5 than 4, but 3 seemed a little low. Regardless, I rounded up to a 4 because there weren't any major flaws. The brushes came quickly in a small box with bubble wrap, then in a little plastic bag where each of them was wrapped individually again. Pleased by that. 5/5 The brushes themselves were a little smaller than I remembered them being, but whatever. They were a pretty shiny golden red/pink color with a comfortable plastic black handle. The bristles were packed closely together and none were out of place or patchy. Aesthetically, the brushes are pretty and look professional. 5/5 The bristles themselves were synthetic, tightly packed together, and very soft. I haven't personally felt an Artis brush or other expensive brands, but they seemed to be high quality and comfortable to use. The handles were comfortable to hold onto. One of the only flaws was that the biggest brush, which I would use for foundation, was a little loose where the black meets the rose gold, and every time I move it, it squeaks a little. I'm sure it will last a bit regardless, but I was definitely disappointed by that, and that was a pretty major flaw. Thus, if you get a product like that, I would suggest not holding that brush by the handle like the YouTubers do - rather, I would hold it higher up, closer to the brush itself, to offer support and prevent breaking. The rest of the brushes, however, were fine with no flaws. 3.5/5 These brushes were soft on the face and easy to use. They are obviously not the best quality, and you get what you pay for. I used a medium coverage liquid foundation to test, and the brush left a few areas patchy and streaky. I found that bounding the brush on your skin on the streaky area actually acts like a beauty blender in a way. The streakiness diminished, and after finishing up, I was left with an overall smooth result. 4/5 Overall, I do suggest these brushes if you want to have a basic oval set in your brush collection. These are in no way professional, but they do leave a wearable, blended finish to your face. They are small, and with the right bag, would be easy to travel with. Other than the slightly malfunctioning brush, these were nice. TL;DR - Brushes are overall good (I got a squeaky malfunctioned one, but it is still usable). Soft, be light handed (don't push too hard), and pat to get rid of the little streakiness it leaves. Arrives well sealed and protected. Good for beginners/everyday people

I love these brushes! The different sizes and head shapes allow easy application to every area of my face. I use the large brush to apply initial foundation across my cheeks, forehead and neck and it does a great job at spreading the makeup to provide full coverage. I then use the next size down brush for under my eyes, chin, nose and upper lip and it is so good at blending, esp. for under my eyes. Under my eye area gets really dry so I've had a hard time blending makeup fully in that area, but this brush has been successful an easy to do this with. I use the thin brushers for creases on my nose, eyes, and lips as well and they really do provide that much additional coverage to the fine details in my face. I love the handles; they are comfortable and easy to grip. All around i can't believe how affordable and amazing these brushes are. They clean very easily, and I find them more easily portable than the typical handle brushes. If you do makeup often and are on a budget, I 100% recommend these brushes :)

i've been holding off an interview on this for a long time. i have had this trying it out for months with all different products. this one had the best REAL reviews. so i said fine i'll dive in! i am so happy i got this. literally the only complaint i have about the bigger 5 brushes is that it applies my foundation for natural, i love me some full coverage! for me a problem i'm sure many of you that's a pro! i've used the larger brushes for foundation, powder, powder blush, powder contour, cream contour, concealer( liquid and stick). the 5 larger oval brushes are amazing every time i used i was impressed, blended well. handles are a tad flimsy but i just support it on the brush head as well. it really does not absorb the product! i had to use to learn a whole lot less or else i had way too much. these are dense which makes them amazing. the smaller brushes are the biggest issues, not great with eyeshadow, the thinner line brushes i think would be great for placing contour or highlight especially on the nose. but they are okay at best. i couldnt see them replacing my normal brushes. but the larger brushes for sure, i used many of them everyday instead of using my beauty blender. they are really great and worth a buy. i dont use super expensive brushes like mac on the regular but i have good quality brushes so im not a novice. these are truly great! long story short; dont think about it BUY IT.

These worked well for about 3 weeks before the main brushes i use snapped at the neck. If you look at the design, you can see that the neck part is ridiculously narrow on these which i think is a design flaw, regardless of how esthetically pleasing it looks. i used one of the middle brushes to apply moisturizer because when i use my fingers the moisturizer messes with my polish - but one day it clearly snapped all the way through. so i started using another one more to do moisturizer and one of the bigger ones for applying makeup - snap again. they clearly have a shelf life. As for applying makeup with them - i find the beauty blender applies foundation much more flawlessly - although these are good if you are trying to keep your fingers clean. i am onto the two biggest brushes now and am expecting them to snap and be useless soon. unfortunate because i was happy with them for a little while. the brushes that broke are the 3rd and 4th counting from the left in the pictures. i am assuming the smaller brushes will last longer because their heads are not so disproportional to the neck - i like using some for quick application of eyeshadow but other than that they are not too useful on a daily basis for me. the biggest one is a bit too big but is really good for using to apply body foundation or glitter/moisturizer - again to keep your hands clean. i am expecting them to snap soon as well :( ... just FYI i do not use them vigorously or in some weird way - just as i presume most people would normally use them.

I love these foundation brushes. You never have to touch your face with your hands and the quality is fantastic . Sometimes I have my small sponge to blend more but I will be using these brushes. They clean well also.
