All three charge with USBC cords but remembering to charge them all at the same time can be a challenge. The speaker is small but it does have strong volume. The controls on the mic are complicated enough for an adult, as you must click through a series of "magic voices" to reach the natural voice setting. However, the natural voice -- at least that of a child -- does sound good. The magic voices really distort too much and add nothing to the karaoke experience. It all sounds better without the echo effect, which is also complicated to turn on and off. Otherwise the microphones are fine and have great range. We found they connected to the speaker even 20 feet away. At first I was skeptical about this unit, but I was convinced after seeing my three-year-old granddaughter come out of her shell and thoroughly enjoy singing along with her favorite songs. "Baby Shark" is still resonating in my head! The unit has features that are potentially useful, such as a slot for a TF card (aka microSD card), to be able to download and play song tracks. With the Bluetooth feature you can also play a track directly from any app on a phone or tablet. The Bluetooth connected was quick and stable and using an online source to play songs was flawless. The instructions that come with the unit are somewhat incomplete. In particular, there is insufficient information on the type of power adapter needed to recharge the speaker and microphones. While two USB cables are included, a power adapter is not, so such information is essential. It is likely that users already have suitable adapters for their phones or tablets, but there is no guidance as to what is compatible and that could lead to harm done to the electronics if the wrong adapters are used. From seeing my granddaughter's joy in singing with this karaoke machine I am now happy to recommend it. ... show more

This karaoke machine is nice. It is a lot smaller (mini) than I had anticipated, but it still is nice for kids. I like the fact that it has a wireless speaker that can be used at a good distance and still hear the sound. The sound quality is good and strong considering the size of this machine. This portable Bluetooth speaker has LED lights that blink as you are singing. I would recommend this machine for a small child to use. It will provide a lot of fun while singing.
