I set up a pintail cruiser deck. I put about a dozen miles on it today. My deck is 9 ply and the hardware is the perfect length to mount the trucks with the riser. The bushings are a good hardness. I can carve as hard as I want and don't get wheel bite. The wheels are great for a cruiser setup. They roll nice over cracks and pebbles. They have good grip for carving and hold momentum ok for a softer wheel. The bearings beat my expectations and then some. I use Bones Reds on my other boards and these bearings spin just about the same. Definitely give the bearings a try before spending to upgrade. Other reviews mentioned trouble with fitting the bearings into the wheel; I pressed them in with the truck like I always do and had no trouble. The kit doesn't include spacers. I plan to live without spacers for the life of these bearings. If you want to build out a cruiser, this kit is a great buy. No need to upgrade the bearings or hardware as other reviews mentioned. I ride my longboard every day and have built a bunch of skateboards. I don't often write reviews but I had been on the fence about buying this kit thinking I'd need to upgrade the bearings or bushings. I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Great kit as-is. ... show more

    • NO BETTER SETUP THAN THESE

Amazing setup. I have made 4 long boards by hand, and have reordered these wheels for every one because of some key reasons. TRUCKS The trucks feel real and solid, and have held up to being grinded on metal and left out in the rain. WHEELS The wheels are AMAZING. They are grippy to the point where I'm not scared about them skidding out from under me while going 20mph+ around turns on asphalt. I am able to do 180 slides on them, but I don't think they are made for sliding. BEARINGS These are FAST. I've done spin tests with kids around the neighborhood with their $200+ boards, and these bearings spin as well as if not longer than their expensive ones. The bolts and screws and such hold up as well as any other, nothing special there. I would reccommend spraying these with some zep45 if they start to slow or rust (I have left these out countless times in the rain, zep takes care of anything) which you can buy at a home depot. Also, if you scrub the wheels, the "yocaher" logo comes off pretty easily, which can be good or bad. I'd say if you are building a longboard, there is no better setup than these for the price. ... show more

    • Good products but drop through decks beware!

The wheels and bearings are great. Worth the price by themselves to be honest. I didnt really need the risers because i got these for a drop through board. This where my problems with the trucks came in. I Decided to use shock pads between the trucks and the deck and i didnt notice at the time but the hangers barely cleared the the board when dropped through and with the 8th inch shock pads the hangers didnt clear. long story short after a few weeks of use the trucks smashed to hell the new-school mounts on my board. Also as others have stated the bushings are terrible. Theyre like little rocks. All in all, i'm happy with the purchase. I still use the trucks on my slide board and i have the wheels on a carving board ... show more

Managed to build a great looking Sector Nine board for under $120 cause of these bad boys (got the board half priced because of some light scratching on the deck, incredible deal.) I see alot of folks complaining about the bearings (and a person or two whining that the packaging "promotes drug use" because it comes in a pill bottle, some people need to learn how to take a joke) and I can't really attest to their value - I bought a set of Bones Reds (shocker, as that seems to be the bearing of choice.) Everything else involved in this set works way better than I expected (another sentence contained within parenthesis because that seems to be a thing I'm doing alot of right now.) Seriously, for $40 this is a great deal so far. I've only gotten two hours of riding in, I've seen some reviews about the wheels chipping, but they seem pretty sturdy to me. Great amount of softness to them, but still sturdy enough. One minor flaw is that once I got the kingpin tightened just the way I wanted it, the washers by the bushings started rattling. I really don't mind, some new bushings would probably fix the problem, but some people might get annoyed by it (like the types of uptight people that leave 1 star reviews for products that they claim "promote drug use." I'm sorry, I'll be nice now.) Haven't ridden in about 15 years and I was cruising parking lots at my job with very few problems within 30 minutes cause of these awesome suckas. I'm a security guard, please don't tell my boss I was skating on the job. ... show more

Every single thing in this bundle was of great quality. They all lasted me a resonable amount of time. First off, the bearing were great. For how long they took my abuse, then not lasting long wasn't the bearings fault. I tend to ride rain or shine and these bearings lasted a long time before kicking the bucket. The trucks are great, allowed me to make right turns easily. The wheels roll over almost every thing, after almost two years of owning them, they have barely began to show their age. They went from a clear white, to a nasty looking yelllow, they will soon be replaced. They were great For how long they lasted. I'm glad this came with risers, I used this bundle on a regular deck. So they prevented some nasty wheel bite. The rest of the bundle served its purpose well, not much to say about that. Overall, this was a great package. Cheap and extremely reliable. Even came with some stickers that I'm rocking on my board. Would highly recommend. ... show more

Ok, I almost gave it up from this purchase...I did a complain, because the product was not in my hands after 3 weeks from the date of purchase...I did contact with the sellers and they answered me have no clue from where my stuff was...after several contacts and a lot of stress the product did arrived. the material is not perfect and I had some problem to place the bearings inside the wheels...however the skateboard is set and runs good! These are amazing for their price and I love them. The first thing I'd like to point out is that the wheels don't need spacers. They are "pre-spaced" and have grooves for the bearings. The "pre spaced" part of the wheel goes about half a centimeter into the wheel (as shown in the first photo) so the bearings can't go deeper into the wheel. YOU DO NOT NEED SPACERS!!!!!! These were for my first longboard and they work amazingly. The only complaint I have is that one part of the wheel screw had some paint spilled on it a bearing got stuck(the paint that part of it a bit too thick). It was a pretty easy fix with a knife though as I just had to scrape off the paint(you can kind of see it in the second photo). I've ridden these a bunch already and they are absolutely incredible. They ride incredibly smooth and go over small sticks easily ... show more

I bought this set for my son after two of his previous bearings blew out. I also ordered some reds bearings which he is using in place of the ones that come with this set, though he said that the bearings that come with this are just a step down from the reds. After replacing the original parts his board rides smoother and cleaner than ever before. He's thanked me repeatedly for getting him the set. Yes the risers are plastic, but they are sturdy and have held up to his use and abuse very nicely. The gel wheels provide for a much smoother ride than his previous harder rubber wheels and the trucks provide for much better turning than the stock trucks (he originally bought his board from a pro board shop but did get a mid range longboard). He uses his board to go several miles every day and prefers it over his mountain bike, especially since the upgrade. ... show more
