This table is SO NICE. It was a little challenging to build, but it is very nicely made. It looks great in my studio apartment where I needed some additional storage space, which this thing has plenty of. The liftable lid works very well and I love that the inside is an extra storage space

I was super happy with it as a I was putting it together. Screws were lining up. Boards were lining up. Assembly was fairly easy. However, when I got to putting the lift top table together - I came across the fact that the contraptions that make it lift, were not different, but the exact same. That does not make it lift up and out. It wouldn't even align with the correct holes and was functionally unusable. I contacted the manufacturer to try to get the correct piece for the other side of the lift top - but they were out of stock of the piece and I really didn't want to return it and rebuild all over again. I ended up having to buy the missing piece from a DIFFERENT company. Yitahome did resolve this by sending me the 30$ as reimbursement. And I'm grateful for that. Now that I have it complete - I'm happy with it, I just wanted to make sure others were aware this can happen - and that you can resolve the issue with the manufacturer if you have no interest I returning. Love this piece as it serves so many purposes. I use it to store my bills and mail, etc. The top comes up and becomes my writing space. In addition to that there is a small cabinet where I put my files. Last but not least there is a space for my cocktail tabke books. And what I really love us that one part of the tabke first life do you don’t need to take things off the top each time you want to likt the table. You can just move them over. And of course you can use it as a tabke to eat while watching TV. It’s a wonderful piece of furniture and with every penny. ... show more

I ordered this table with the gray wash finish through Amazon Warehouse for just under $100 with it categorized in “very good” condition and a note of “minor package damage noted”. It was marked down just over $60 from the normal price so I decided to give it a shot. The table arrived 3 days later in one large box (moderately heavy, I suggest having someone to help you carry it in although I did it by myself up a flight of stairs and survived). I saw no visible damage on the box other than a slight rip in the cardboard on the face which was already taped closed. The contents inside were very well packaged with no wasted space inside and plenty of protection to handle the less than gentle shipping process. The components appear to be of good quality, particularly for the arena of put together furniture offered these days. All components and hardware were clearly labeled and coincided with the assembly instructions perfectly. Assembly took me about an hour at a leisurely pace and I’m confident in saying that if you pay attention to the details in both the text AND the photos in the instructions that just about anyone can assemble this table. During assembly all pre-drilled holes were placed properly and everything lined up perfectly. I was surprised to see that the hinges on the doors were equipped with adjustment screws and they work great to set the gaps evenly around the doors. The hinges and pistons for top that raises were initially stiff, but have broken in perfectly over the first three weeks of use and seem to be holding up very well. Speaking of that lift up top… it is an awesome feature for eating, typing, reading, etc. I will never go back to a fixed top coffee table again after having this feature. The amount of storage is also table offers is really beneficial as well. Bottom line: I’m very happy with this table at the $100 price point and would’ve been happy even if I had paid a little more. I will say that it was a little difficult to put together only because I was by myself at the time and I had to get creative putting the lift portion together and I had a bit of a hard time understanding how the pieces were supposed to fit together because I relied on the picture. Other than that it was okay to put together solo but I recommend a partner and it fits beautifully in my livingroom along with my sectional that has a chaise. ... show more

    • Sturdy and high quality, but not the color I expected
I like this table a lot especially with the lift top. It lifts smoothly and seems very sturdy. I also like how it has the doors on both sides and they're the kind of doors that will close quietly. My only concern is that mine came with no instructions, but I was able to find a link on this Amazon page where I printed them (which is why I lowered the rating for assembly). I actually ended up returning this table because the color didn't match the rest of the decor. I bought another set of bookcases I love from this same company and I hoped the table would match (both are gray), but the tone was too different where it seemed very obvious. This table had a bit of a pink/tan tone to the gray coloring while the other shelves where more of a straight gray. Had it matched the color better, I would've definitely kept and enjoyed it ... show more
