I had this in my wish list and ended up getting it as a gift. The directions were good, very clear, but do take your time and check and double check the direction and placement of every piece. It's going to feel weak and unstable until the whole thing comes together. Once all together it feels pretty good! I really like it's unique design. It is heavy, that box is no joke! But it's a pretty good sized shelf. I feel you do lose some storage space with the design but again, it's definitely more unique. I will say that I did have difficulty with the shelves on one side, the predrilled holes seemed to be just a touch too large and the screws didn't hold. Once everything was together it didn't matter but it did add a challenging element I could have lived without! Without that I'd have given this is full star rating. ... show more

It was very detailed in the instructions and I would absolutely recommend it. It's more interesting than a standard shelf and can hold a variety of book sizes. It holds my Lego builds and many many books.

I am in love with this storage rack. It came delivered in a large box weighing about 80 pounds. When we unpacked the box, all items were there and they sent extra screws to make sure you didn’t need anything It came with Everything you need tools and all. The instructions were well written and illustrated making the assembly easy It took my husband and I about 2 1/2 hours to assemble it completely This is a large item with many parts. We were impressed by the quality and stability when the assembly was completed The shelves have a beautiful wood appearance along with the black metal framing, makes it look luxurious. I love the angled shelving for a more artistic look in the room with a ton of storage space. We intend to use it as part of our remodeled walk-in closet for Storing jeans, Sweatshirts and sweaters.
