    • This is a really useful cover for a small boat
The cover is a substantial weight fabric, waterproof, and the elastic edge is strong enough to serve its intended purpose. I’m not using this cover for the type of boat it was designed for, I’m using it on a small blunt nosed fiberglass speedboat that looks like what WDW rented as a Water Sprite from the 70’s to the 90’s to cover both boat and motor. Just like the photo of the intended use it’s being used with 2 support poles that have the broad tops and straps to the gunwales. I’ve owned the boat for 40y and this is the first cover I’ve ever had that fit it, so I could be a little too easy to please at this point. It’s not as heavy a fabric as the covers I’ve had for the (much) larger I/O drive boats but it also doesn’t have to span as much distance and it was less than 1/10th the price. I’m not qualified to confirm or deny the stated 600 denier weight, it’s heavier than garment cloth, not as heavy as luggage, and almost but not quite as heavy as the carry-on luggage I’ve owned. My unqualified guesstimate is that it should be good for 3-5 years, but cost is reasonable enough TT hat a 1 year life would still be an adequate value for my purpose. ... show more

    • It wasn't as advertised.
The description of the boat cover said it was a 900D canvas, when I received it, it was a 600D canvas. It is still a good quality boat cover, so it was worth keeping and not returning. The fit was perfect on my Pelican Bass Raider.
