If you like shoes with a hard padding that support the foot, then these are for you. Personal, I do not prefer these shoes. It is like walking on eggshells for me. They are also a narrow fit. I do like that they hug the ankles helping me with compressions of my ankles since my ankles do swell a lot. They have arch support as well. The design to me is actually nice. I love how the style is shoelaces-less so I do not have to worry about tying my shoes every time they come unraveled. I do not think these are as flexible as they should be. Let me just begin by saying I was not too sure of what I was gonna get because I am a timid shopper - always doubting if I am getting a good product. So when I got these I immediately put them on and went to the gym. This is how I feel after wearing them for about 3 hrs: 1. FIT: I usually wear an 8.5, so I ordered an 8.5 for this. This was a snug fit - with very little extra toe space, which works for me because this doesn't have laces so you can't manually tighten them and I need a tight fit especially while exercising. 2. COMFORT: When I wore these, my feet felt good. But then when I started walking in them - tbh my feet started hurting. This can be because of many reasons - I recently started working out and training after being unfit for a long time, the previous pair of shoes were kinda loose and I wore them for about 2 yrs so maybe my feet were more used to that fit. That being said my feet stopped hurting after a while and then hurt again once I came back home. (Also, I have had painful feet for the last 2 yrs in general so this could totally be unrelated) Long story short - my feet feel better after being massaged lol. So if you like a little loose fit, you might wanna size up by 0.5. 3. DESIGN: I love the way these look. I bought black because they look so classic. Pair them up with anything. 4. VALUE: Good value for the price ($29.99). Overall I am happy with this purchase. I am gonna wear them for a while to make sure they are not the reason I have foot pain (I hope not). Will buy red, blue, and purple too once I wear this for a while... Hope this was helpful. ... show more
