I got these sneakers because they were the cheapest things I could find in my size. I normally buy more expensive, branded shoes on clearance, but couldn't wait. I was pleasantly surprised by these. There do not have much cushioning, but they are soft and comfortable to wear and haven't given my any problems with pain. Even wore them during an event where I spent 7 straight hours standing on a hard floor a few days after I received them and had no issues. I have a very wide foot, often a 4E or X-Wide. The "wide" version of these sneakers fit my foot great and had plenty of room in the toebox, without being too big. Not very much of a tread on these, but they aren't trail shoes and they do seem to have decent grip on floors. I was so pleased with how they fit and feel that I ordered a 3rd pair to have when these wear out. No concerns with quality either, compared to brand name sneakers I've had. I wanted a very lightweight shoe that was easy to put on and could be worn around the house and neighborhood, especially during the spring and summer heat. This was a good choice for me and checked all of those boxes. The best part is the wide sizing, which is essential for me. I have a wide foot, and even choosing wide options with brand‑name sneakers still isn’t enough. However, these are truly WIDE; I was so happy to see a genuinely wide fit. My foot could actually lie flat and not get bunched up toward the toe. They are well made, and I didn’t notice any loose fabric or frayed threads. The inside padding is pretty impressive, as is the tongue of the shoe. They are very comfortable to wear and breathe really well. They have a mesh‑style fabric in some of the panels, so don’t expect them to be waterproof. I chose solid black, and they are nicely styled with some decent‑looking graphics on the side. My one complaint was the sole; I wish it had better tread. It has an almost even level of tread along most of the underside of each shoe, with just a small X‑shaped indent in the middle. They aren’t slippery and don’t slide on tile or hardwood floors. However, I was hoping for something a little more rugged underneath. Overall, for this price point and such a wide stance, I feel they are good value. I will use them around home for walking around my block and for short trips around town. I wouldn’t recommend them for hiking or going on trails; they’re better suited for sidewalks or asphalt streets. That’s why they get four out of five stars from me—minus one star for their very flat sole with limited tread. ... show more

I grabbed these mainly for walking outside, taking out the trash, checking the mail, and other quick trips around the house. They fit well right out of the box and the wide fit gives my feet plenty of room without feeling sloppy. They're lightweight, comfortable, and easy to throw on when I need to head outside for a few minutes. The all-black design looks good and doesn't show dirt easily, which is a plus for outdoor chores. I wouldn't use them for serious hiking, but for everyday walking and casual use they've been comfortable and have worked exactly as I hoped.
