I purchased the YETI Yonder Water Bottle with the Yonder Tether Cap for a trip to Turkey, mainly to avoid the ridiculous prices of bottled water at the airports. It turned out to be a great decision. I refilled it at the airport water station after passing security, and it provided more than enough hydration while waiting about two hours for my flight. As expected from YETI, the bottle is very well-made and feels durable without being heavy. The tether cap is convenient and secure, making it easy to carry and refill without worrying about losing the lid. Overall, this bottle was perfect for travel, saved me money, and delivered the quality YETI is known for. Highly recommended for frequent travelers.

Thank God REI stood behind the products they carry and took it back with full refund. The bottle is lightweight. The strap keeping the lid/lids connected to the bottle is a great feature so they don't get dropped while using the bottle. The bottle fits in my car's cupholder easily. So far have been very happy with this bottle. Obviously, it will not stand up to drops and banging around like a stainless steel Yeti... but for shorter hikes/walks around the neighborhood, parks/trails and in the car it is great. Also won't keep liquid super cold as it is not insulated... but it is a great water bottle that is BPA free and saves using store water bottles and adding more plastic to ecosytem.

Was a little unsure about this as I have always had the metal yeti bottles. I wanted to get something that was big as I have been trying to drink more water. This baby holds 50oz so if you can get through 2 of these a day you are in pretty good shape. I like how the bottle is clear, still seems durable even though it isn’t metal. The top is nice as you can drink from a small opening or take it completely off. There are no leaks and it is easy to clean based on its size. It won’t fit in most car cup holders. Decent price for the item itself as it’s cheaper on Amazon as opposed having to pay $10 for shipping through Yeti. Only downside is if the water is cold and it is warm outside the bottle will “sweat” but it isn’t a big deal to me.

Bottle is nice definitely in line with most other yeti products. My only complaint was they wrapped it in plastic so tight it pinched the lid loop/handle and creased it and it looks funny.

I drink a lot of water and I think I'm done w/ metal water bottles. I've had MANY over the years- Sigg, Hydroflask, Stanley, and generic. While the metal water bottles offer positives like stainless steel construction and good looks, once you drop one w/ a good amount of water in it, it's pretty ruined (depending how you drop it). Sure, they can take a few dings, but once you dent the base and they can't stand up w/o wobbling about, then they're just unfortunate. Nothing like recycling a $50 water bottle because it slipped out of your hand. I've long appreciated Nalgene water bottles due their bomb-proof nature. Sadly, Nalgene doesn't make a bottle larger than 16 oz. that'll fit in an average car cup holder. Enter the Yeti Yonder! It has that same bomb-proof feel of the Nalgene but takes on the useful size and shape of modern water bottles. The lid tether is smart as it retains the 2-piece cap whether you unscrew the small cap or the wide-mouth opening. The tether can also be completely removed should you desire. I like that I can use the small opening for drinking w/o spilling and use the larger opening for easier cleaning and filling. Water stays flavor-free and the lid has proven to be absolutely leak-free. If Yeti would add volume hash marks, that would make this all the better. Overall I'm really glad I found this option for a reusable bottle.
