Hands down, the best backpack I’ve ever owned. Primarily, it is because it stands up on its own. Empty of full, you can set it down, open the time and look around for what you need. If what I’m are looking for is at the bottom, I lay it down horizontally and unzip it like a duffle without everything spilling out. Good pockets. I am always using the small pocket on the lid for sunscreen, keys, glasses cleaner, passport…. It’s like a magic hole in which you can place a seemly endless number of items and they are always secure and easy to find—probably because the bottom is firm, but stretchy. The back and shoulder straps at soft and comfortable, but have a rigid that is both comfortable and structured. The straps are also controllable and can be slipped into a strap that holds them against the bag. The shell is very durable. The bottom even more so. I have the largest one (27L I believe). I pack two laptops, powerbanks, cords, and international charger, headphones, medication, toiletries, sunscreen, a kindle, a change of cloths for the gym or a seater during the winter. I never leave home without it. And I never forget to bring something I might need for any occasion (business or pleasure). I got my son a 27L. I’m trying to convince my wife she needs one. She balks at the price. But, she will break down one day and say that she should have listened to me sooner. Awesome, structured carry everywhere / carry-on. There is no other backpack on the market that I would even consider for my needs—though I’m back on this page looking at the 12L version trying to think of a good use case that would justify purchasing a second version:-).

Great little backpack, well not so little actually. I bought the next size up at REI and this one here, they are similar except this one doesn't have the roller bag handle strap but there are ways around that if one needs to attach it to a roller bag. What I really like about these backpacks from YETI is how they open to allow access to the whole interior and the fact that they sit up on their own. There is also a nice little extra compartment inside the top flap. Plus it is really well made with good zippers and toggles. I'm not typically a backpack person but these could convert me!

I love my YETI Ranchero. I got it to pack for some upcoming trips, and it turns out to be a great every day pack for my work gear. It fits my laptop, iPad and portfolio no problem. Also used it to carry fishing gear to the pond. Well worth the money.

Love this bag, just the right size for a diaper bag. The color and weight are great. The unique zipper design is awesome too. One thing I didn't expect is the bag is more rigid than I would have thought. It maintains the shape when empty, it does not flatten out. Good and bad IMO.

I used this on a recent cruise. Pros: sturdy, great zippers, love how you can open the whole bag. It was easy to access during flights and fit under the seat in front. It's great that the bag sits upright. I did remove the bottom stiffener and bag still didn't fall over. Cons: It's heavy. There is a hard shaping piece on the back that didn't really fit my back without using the sternum straps. A waistbelt would be helpful when using this as a carry on which I did. The only outside pockets are for water bottles. They are roomy but open. The inside pockets aren't very large and hard to get to unless you empty the pack. It would have been nice to have one zip pocket on the outside.
