It allows me to keep it in a ready-to-drink position while preventing debris from falling into the drink. The fitting is snug. It seals 100%. It snaps into a locked position that has no risk of coming open in my bag. It is easy to drink from without fouling the bottle. This cap has transformed a silly 12oz rambler into something useful. It’s easy to clean. There are no hard to reach crevices. The middle part unscrews all the way out, but that was not immediately apparent to me, as the snap to unlock it is rather tight. I like it. I recommend it. Much more secure and durable than the clear snap-in-place lid that comes with the Rambler.

Brand new, original YETI product. Arrived very quickly and decent price. This lid seals the Rambler very well so no leaks if its tightened down. A slight twist to open it enough to drink from, and the lid is 2 pieces that unscrew to be able to clean it and dry it out. The nice part is that you can drink from the lid on any side. Helps keep a drink hot for quite awhile. I finished mine in about 4 hours and it was still a nice temp. Not sorry I bought this.

Came in original packaging like the ones they sell in the store. Easy to clean and work as described. Great for coffee and tea drinker. Lid is interchangeable with different size yeti bottle.

On cold diving days I mix of a big batch of hot chocolate to warm me up after the dive. But the standard caps for most of these bottles just isn't suited for drinking hot drinks. This solves that problem. It doesn't seem to degrade the performance of the bottle, a hot drink mixed up in the morning is still quite hot in the evening. In fact it works almost too good, and I will likely be trying the Cup Cap, as then I can pour a limited amount to cool while the main amount stays hot. Now it does have two big negatives, the first is common for most of the caps, it lacks a carrying handle. If you use a larger bottle so you have enough beverage for all day, they are hard to hold by the bottle walls alone. The second is that it is hard to tell if it is open or closed. If I put it down I have to first physically check that it is closed. If I am holding it for a while, and forget if it is open or closed I have to reach in to check.

I disliked the straw cap that came with my Yeti. This is easy to use even with one hand. And you can drink from any side.

I like this lid! It turned my 18 oz Rambler bottle into a great commuter mug (which doubles as a self defense weapon! It's super heavy and strong!). The original lid was no good to me if driving or on public transit where I only have one hand free. This lid is very quick and easy to open, sips easily, closes easily. It's hard to open one handed but can be done, especially if you can set it down while you're doing it. A HUGE perk is that it far easier to disassemble and wash than any other travellers mug lid I've seen; there no weird cracks and crevases that you can't clean. Here are the important PROS: - Fully leakproof - Very durable - Easy to clean (Dishwasher safe, too!) - Quick to open/close, just 1/4 turn - Insulates pretty well - works on any of the YETI Bottles (but NOT on their tumblers! Take note!!) Here are the CONS: - Big and heavy (like all things YETI) - Tricky, but not impossible, to open one-handed - Might forget to close it and spill, no indicator when open or closed - Pricey! Felt like a lot to spend on just a lid, but I expect it will last a LONG time - Wish this was the default lid that came with all YETI Rambler bottles! Again, I love my YETI and look forward to my biceps getting bigger as a result of hefting the substantial weight regularly! I don't think it will ever wear out so losing it is my only concern fear.
