Not sheer at all, work well as black out curtains. Soft to touch, nice sheen in the light, goldish (I bought beige/champagne). Very pretty. So pretty I bought another set for a closet that does not easily accommodate a door.

I bought these curtains for my living room window and they are very nice, especially for the price! My apartment is ground level, so I bought these to spruce up the space and to make the window look a little less like a basement window. I took off one star only because the color is slightly off. I ordered teal and in the photos they have more green tones than blue. I'd still consider these teal but have more of a blue tone to them. Not a big deal though and they still look great! The fabric is silky and shiny, giving a luxurious look. If you are able to steam them, I'd recommend since they hold the creases of being folded in their bag and it is noticeable if they are not bunched up as much as they are in my photo ... show more

The color matched the bedspread perfectly. Once the wrinkles were steam ironed these curtains looked beautiful. They do block the light out really well. The fabric has just the right thickness without being bulky with a pretty sheen. I ended up using the curtain rods I had some shears on previously.
