The material is awesome, chintz like and 100% cotton. It is soft and the color was lovely. The dress was destined to be gorgeous but failed. No shape to it at all. I felt like I was wearing a pretty potato sack. The dress needed help and perhaps a fashion designer could have greatly helped the dress be fabulous. A bit of smocking at the empire waist. A bit of piping or lace. Some elastic in the waist to provide some definition. The price was great. The fabric fabulous as was the color I chose, lavender was fabulous. The styling lacked greatly. The large fit perfectly in the length, the sleeves were not too tight but the dress needed something to make if fit a bit more stylishly. Improve on the styling and I would buy it again. This came as pictured. The sleeves are a bit long, but they could be shortened if you wanted. I'm 5'10", 160lbs, 34C and ordered a medium. İt has no zipper or elastic band and it went on easily and is loose fitting. İ order two colors of this dress (black and the blue/white one). They fit the same. Neither go to the ground on my tall frame (hits about 2/3 down my calves). One should definitely jazz this up with good shoes and accessories since it is VERY basic, but it has a lot of possibilities and can be layered for year-round wear since it's so loose. Maybe that's to make it easier to slip on and off? Either way, i don't like how loose it fits my foot (i have a narrow foot), so i will be returning. The color is accurate (ordered beige).

I like the fit and the style of this pretty springtime dress although the material is swishy and acoustically noisy! I don’t like my clothing to attract attention in that way. The length is at my ankle for my 5’5” frame and the colors are very appealing! The material is light and cool and washes well on delicate and dries well on fluff dry. I will wear this pretty dress for many occasions! The swishy sound may decrease with washing. Maybe something was added to the fabric as a treatment for “newness”, causing the crispy, swishy sound. Perhaps the material is mercerized to increase luster, prevent mildew and reduces lint? All pluses, in my opinion, and if so I will not complain about the swishy noise. It fits my pear shaped frame very well but probably will be tight on busty ladies. Very pretty! ... show more

I'm 5'6 and wear a 2X or 3X dress depending on how fitted it is around my belly/mid-section. I purchased a 3X because I can't stand seeing my belly and a 3x hides most of my belly. It fits perfectly everywhere. The dress length hits the top of my ankle and great with white, canvas tennis shoe or flats. The sleeve length hides the part of my biceps most women don't care for. I ordered the dark navy blue dress which the fabric is thick enough to hold it's shape but light enough to breath. It didn't blow up in the wind on the beach in Florida so I wasn't constantly tugging or pulling it down but it wasn't tight. It washes well with some very slight wrinkles that most can be removed by running your hand down if done immediately after removing from dryer. I still like to iron for a crisp look but not necessary if hanging outdoors. The price is a good value even if I just wear for one season. The dark blue dress could be worn into fall with short boots. I've already worn 5 or 6 times and I've just had 2 1/2 weeks. Great grab and go quickly dress. I am considering ordering another color since it's so comfortable and flattering. I wouldn't hesitate to order plus Amazon returns are quick and simple. ... show more

I like that the length was perfect for me (5'2") without hemming. You can wash/dry or wash/hang and not have to iron it if you are ok with the slightly wrinkled look. It packed well for a trip and fit the theme for my cruise. Only real concern is that the pockets are too high - it's uncomfortable to try to get my phone in/out of the pocket. If you do put your phone in your pocket, it pulls/hangs noticeably lower. ... show more

This dress makes me feel so pretty! It's flowy and the colors are vibrant. I'm 5"4' so it is truly a maxi dress on me but not so long that I can't walk. When I sit have to gather it up good so I don't step on it or get it caught under a rolling chair but it's nice to cover my legs (don't need to shave or anything). The fabric is soft and thin but not so sheer that you can see anything even with light behind. Maybe a paler color or white would be different. I did buy this in black but it was a different "brand" and it had an attached slip to block view. Anyway, this is now my favorite dress and it's lucky people still compliment me on it because I wear it a lot. And the POCKETS!!! Are you kidding me!!?? It's the reason I didn't wear dresses for so long. Dresses with pockets are the bomb!!! Why did this EVER fall out of fashion. Please Fashion Designers/Buyers!!! Keep putting pockets in dresses and skirts!!! We have stuff to carry!! We don't always want a purse with!! Okay sorry about that... BTW, the pockets are a good size and feel reliable. My dress was the most beautiful dress. I wore it to a formal gathering at an elegant hall and I fit right in. I received many compliments as well. The dress was comfortable, and flows very nicely when you walk. I like that it covered my post-surgery stomach as well. I intend to buy 10 more in different patterns, buying one each time I get paid. I can’t afford to get them all at one time. However, you won’t go wrong with these lovely dresses. I am a size 12, so I bought a large. It is long on me, to my ankles, since I am only 5’1” but the dress served it’s purpose. I am thrilled to have found a designer where the dress fits me perfect and I can where their dresses to church, dress them down, or wear to a formal occasion since they have so many various patterns. I am thrilled. Lastly, my order came very fast. I ordered the dress late at night and it shockingly came the next morning around 8:30 am. Right on time! ... show more
